TV Anime 'Time Travel Shoujo: Mari Waka to 8-nin no Kagakusha-tachi' Announced for Summer 2016

A teaser website has opened for a TV anime titled Time Travel Shoujo: Mari Waka to 8-nin no Kagakusha-tachi, which will begin airing in July 2016. In English, the series will be titled Time Travel Girl. Cast members of the series include all four members of the seiyuu unit Sphere.

The website of the series is registered to Osaka-based WAO Corporation, a company which provides education services to students ranging from infants to adults. It also operates a chain of cram schools.

So many people are tired of time travel anime... But this one looks different. Not 'travel back in time to stop something bad' but 'travel nack and meet historical figures' so I dunno why a lot of people are complaining... It won't be another BokuMachi or Re:Zero I guess.

Time travel is the in element right now. I'm fine with time travel just as long as it's written / done well. Not sure if I'll like this anime based on the synopsis but I'll check it out anyway and let it go from there. (":

based from the cover i don't think it's gonna be a serious one. but it MIGHT be a serious one like Re:zero.......i hope. when it comes to time travel, usually the plot is stong. but i must say, this year we got a little bit more of time travel anime including Stiens;Gate but still it's out of question. i think they need to lower it a little bit or it might ended up like "Mc went into a game/fantasy world" anime which most people hate. or for more obvious example : *cough* generic harem and ecchi *cough* < this one is the most thing which most people don't want to see in anime these days.

I do not like the character designs.....look so generic....that booby chick, I've seen her in other animes or at least her twins anyway.

Director of Terra E so it might be good but it still looks crappy to me. More happy go lucky shit. Give me more dark shit to balance out the lighter crap.
