'Time Travel Shoujo: Mari Waka to 8-nin no Kagakusha-tachi' Reveals Production Staff
Additional staff members have been revealed for the Summer 2016 anime Time Travel Shoujo: Mari Waka to 8-nin no Kagakusha-tachi. The series is scheduled to begin airing over 12 episodes on July 9 at 7:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo and five affiliated networks.
Time Travel Shoujo is based on a 1983 book titled Jishaku to Denki no Hatsumei Hakken Monogatari by Japanese educator Kiyonobu Itakura. It is part of the Hatsumei Hakken Monogatari Zenshuu series which describes the story of various scientific discoveries and inventions throughout history. The 1983 book focuses on discoveries related to magnetism and electricity.
Osamu Yamasaki was previously announced as the series director and composer. The six-member idol group AOP also announced on Saturday during a live performance that they will perform the series opening theme song, "Kibou Traveler."
