The backlog sales for Bleach were up by a pretty sizable margin this year rather than the last 2 years, did it get more promotion this year than in '13 and '14?

243,402 in 2013
192,019 in 2014
333,737 in 2015

I initially thought it was the 13 blades fan book, but that was separated from Bleach in both the monthly and weekly rankings throughout august, so that wasn't it, the app is the only thing I can think of that caused this slight increase, but that's hard to believe

Not happening. No shoujo manga since post 90s ever got an anime adaptation after ending the serialization.
and then, there goes my hope for orange and taiyou no ie anime adaptation.
I really want a High School Debut anime adaptation!! ): It's a perfect entry to the shoujo romance demographic. Shame it's probably never gonna get one. The live action adaptation sucked.

Prison School and OPM doing great. It's too bad I can't say the same about Magi, especially because it returned to being a very enjoyable read for a while now.

Glad to see Prison School is doing well.

Just like Beelzebub,Shaman King and many others who were axed.Selling 200k-350k is less than the least a 30+ volume on WSJ with more than one One Piece and Dragon Ball crossover should do.

Does the series has bad rankings in the magazine? No? Than it has no reason to be cancelled, doesn't matter what you think about it!

I don't look much into TOC,maybe if we had an average for 2015 it would be better. But most of the times Toriko only does better than the mangas with sell good but weirdly has low rankings(Bleach,Gintama ...) and Kochikame.

So he sells low and does less than average on TOC

You're acting like it's selling literally nothing. There are 20 series in WSJ right now. The top 30 is all manga from all magazines. I think you're giving real unnecessary hate to Toriko. Sure, it might not be a top 30 series, but it does sell volumes in the hundreds of thousands.

I can't imagine what will happen the day this gets an adaptation.
Judging by the synopsis, it doesn't look like the type of series that can get more popular than it already is imo.
well, it's basicly OPM but with daily life. and look what happened to OPM today.
