Overlord still selling yay!!
I bought vol1 from yen press, waiting for arrival

Jun 5, 2016 8:14 PM by Helios373

The big question will be how much BnHA will continue to rise. Will it have an epic anime boost and then start sinking once the anime ends? Or will the anime boost have put it on that 800k-900k volume amount that WSJ series like Haikyuu and AC have?

And speaking of AC, Im assuming that despite the fact the series is now officially over, my understanding is it still has like 3 volumes to be released, so I think it'll stay at that #2 or #3 spot for the rest of the year, though I doubt it'll be within the top 20 for 2017.

The anime ended on a very aggressive cliff hanger with no clear intentions of coming back, so I'm guessing most of what's left of anime watchers picked up the manga for more.

Yeah the anime boost did wonders for it at the time, but as soon as that ended it's been declining rapidly. At this rate even Kingdom will outsell it in a per volume basis.

Yup. But on the brighter side (for it), it's not the only series to have fallen off a cliff.

Lol, I was looking forward to a deep analysis of the list from you....

Finals... are taking away all my time. I probably won't be able to comment on my most anticipated volume (HxH 33) until after two or three days *weeps*

The threshold is lower than last year

The full year cutoff line in 2011 was 1.4 million, now the cutoff might be 2 million+ this year.

I don't think Yotsuba would work on TV, but maybe I am wrong.

Author doesn't like how they did Azumanga Daioh so he isn't letting Yotsuba get an anime, maybe he'll change his mind someday.

chrisbj said:

I just noticed Nisekoi and Yowapeda didn't make the list, Toriko welcomes you to the club....

Toriko still has a chance :'(

The cutoff line just keeps growing each year, so it's not a fair assessment.
Any series with less than 2 million sales probably won't even make the top 30 this year.

Haha, yea I think that's where I got the idea from and I simply agree with him.

I expected more of One Piece.
I'm happy for Snk since life has became more fair and made it bypass Nanatsu no Taizai.
And the most unexpected thing: If Fairy Tail buying that much?

And for the LN: I'm always sad to not to see Rokka no Yuusha I know that the author took a long break since the last volume but it's the most underrated story ever.

56. *,*30,131 Jinrui Saikyou no Hatsukoi

I'm surprise you still haven't got the point yet. Snk volume 18 was release in December just like opm' as you can see it's counted in the first half 2016 manga sales. All the sales from mid November to Mid may are included in the first half sales.
