The continent of Halkeginia is tumultuous—a place where the various kingdoms, princedoms, dukedoms, and fiefdoms strive against each other to expand their domains. The nobility scheme and plot among themselves to gain influence to their lieges or to even foreign lieges. In the middle of Halkeginia is the small but important kingdom of Tristein. The most notable fact about this kingdom is the Tristein Academy of Magic where nobility from all over the world come to study magic so they can become magi. Although friendships will form across national boundaries at this school, will they survive the politics and games of the world at large once they leave?

Louise is a student at Tristein Magical Academy. She is known to be quite a screw up when it comes to her magic. One day, a ceremony takes place where each student is to call forth a being or entity that will become his or her familiar. For Louise, her familiar comes in the form of a boy named Hiraga Saito. Somehow, he managed to get transported from his world into hers, and shortly after became her familiar.

Due to the author Noboru Yamaguchi's illness, Zero no Tsukaima was discontinued in 2011, only publishing 20 volumes out of the 22 planned. In 2015, the official site announced that it will resume publication until the series' completion.

Noboru Yamaguchi died in 2013 at the age of 41, after more than two years of fighting cancer. The remaining plot and ending of the series were assigned to the series' editors by Yamaguchi on his sickbed.

The story is held on an academy of magic, in another world from ours.
Within the academy, the students well me taught in the four elements.
( Fire, Water, Earth, Air ) only noble can use magic, not common people like me.
You will be following Louise AKA ( also known as )
Louise the zero, since she can't control any of the elements.
In the second school year, the Students will get to summon one Familiar.
Louise by accident summons a human boy from our world, read more

This was a way to painful to read...

Story- 4/10
We've all seen these troupes and cliches before, perverted boy gets summoned to a magical world, tsundere, the main heroine sucks at everything but is secretly the chosen one, and a magical school. And let's not forget that our main character has the most powerful ability of all....he somehow gets every girl to gravitate around him.
This, of course, causes jealousy to arise literally everywhere and this is one of the biggest and most worse aspects of the novel. Louise and Saito get jealous and angry over the smallest thing, I can't root for this ship read more

I hope this review can be useful. English is not my nacional language so It will probably has some mistakes.

Story: The plot occurs in a Cademy of Magic, where Louise studies with her familiar Hiraga Saito. The story's beginning is very similar to a slice of life, introducing you to that world slowly. Then the big war starts and both Saito and Louise are "forced" to participate on it. The main characters have theirs own goals; Saito doesn't want to stay on this world anymore he wants to go back to Japan (his homeland). Louise is called "Zero Louise", because of her inability to use read more
