 An anime adaptation of Punichan's Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru (The Villiainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom) light novel was announced by Kadokawa's B's Log Bunko imprint on Friday.Punichan began penning the fantasy romance novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou in March 2016. Kadokawa began publishing the series under its B's LOG Bunko label with illustrations by Yamabuki Naruse in October 2016. The 14th volume went on sale in November 2023. The light novel has a cumulative 5.6 million copies of its volumes in circulation. Hoshina began serializing a manga adaptation on the B's-LOG COMIC platform in December 2017. Kadokawa released the 15th volume on January 31. Synopsis On the day before her downfall, Lady Tiararose Lapis Clementille recalls that she is in an otome game that she had once played in her former life. She used to adore the main love interest Prince Hartknights Lapis-Lazuli Lactomuth, but unfortunately, she was not reincarnated as the heroine, but rather as is his worst enemy—the villainess fiancée.
