New OVA for 'Suisei no Gargantia' Announced

An announcement made at AnimeJapan 2014 revealed that a new 2-episode OVA for Suisei no Gargantia will be coming Fall 2014. The screening event for the first OVA was announced as well. More information on the OVA will be given at a later time.

While i agree that Gargantia needed to tie up those loose ends, i thought PP had wound up in a more..comprehensive? manner. So i just hope the second season doesn't end up ruining all that the first built so carefully

so the sequel to the show is gonna be 2 ovas instead of a series. it makes sense since a lot of the show itself was filler with quite a bit of slice of life moments

This is the only sequel Gargantia gets. Yes, only two OVAs. No second season. Hardly doubt they'll announce anything after the OVAs. this news sucks.
I also hoped this would get a second season like Psycho Pass :(

Will be interesting to see where they go with this story-wise. It will either just be the casts' daily lives or it will set up a possible second season. Either way I'm hyped.

I guess people always like to take this as an excuses over bad writing, weak plot & etc even though it's written by Gen Urobochi.

Suisei no Gargantia was really one of the best anime from last year.
The first 2 OVA's were great too. Really hyped up for this!!!
