Can a listing on the classification board's website qualify as a source? A Certain Scientific Railgun S has been listed with Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia as the applicant (they licensed Index and the first season of Railgun). They barely advertise their anime releases, so it's difficult to find a source with an announcement directly from them.

It does. They've licensed stuff for Australia in the past (as you've mentioned yourself). They're just not as visible as the more mainstream outfits. Heck I couldn't even find a website for them. In fact, someone asked them for the URL to their website on their Facebook page.

Also, not sure about this one - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-09-27/aniplex-usa-adds-sword-art-online-extra-edition-silver-spoon-2-on-home-video/.79276

Should we add SAO Extra Edition to the list? To the best of my knowledge, nobody's licensed it yet. (Note that it's a special)

Thoughts?

Edit: The next quarter's license thread is up (here) but this thread will remain unlocked until October 1 to accommodate last minute news.

They also acquired RahXephon.

^ Bokurano, awesome!

Rather late, but a company called Mandala Films released Holy Knight in Australia last month. From some Googling, it looks like it was licensed in May.

Hanabee has a movie announcement to make soon.
Edit: It's Short Peace.
