They also announced that it will be simulcast on Wakanim in the summer, which I believe makes it the first Summer simulcast license announcement lol. Not worth putting up a thread for that yet of course, though.

Oh and by the way Manga UK have had the license to the original Ghost in the Shell for years (decades, even), albeit only on DVD.

It will be the first entry then. It's almost April and time for the next quarters' threads.

Ah. I had thought otherwise and it made me wonder why all it received was a single line. Fixed.

And thank you all for your submissions. : )

I think Kuroko not getting licensed may be tied to those threats against the author. Now that the guy's been caught, it could happen. But still, sports anime just don't sell, so most distributors aren't willing to take the risk. Kuroko does have a significantly large fanbase in the west, though.

Anime Limited have the license to Space Dandy season 2 in the UK. Further details will be made available at a later date:

They also announced that it will be simulcast on Wakanim in the summer, which I believe makes it the first Summer simulcast license announcement lol. Not worth putting up a thread for that yet of course, though.

Ehhhh? What is this "From the New World" you speak of? Are you referring to Shinsekai Yori? =P

What's so strange to use licensed titles in licensed anime thread? Jeez...

Did I say it was so strange? And did you see the "=P"? Did you think I was seriously criticizing him or something? Maybe you should lighten up...

Anyways, maybe Campione will make some extra money from the license in Australia, I thought it sold decently in Japan right? As far as harems like that go, I thought it was pretty enjoyable.

Sentai has licensed Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? (Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?) for a digital and home video release.

One that did slip through was their licensing Arcana Famiglia (source). No release details yet, or actual announcement direct from MVM themselves.

Thank you for clearing that up kuuderes_shadow. I've fixed the error.

As for Arcana Famiglia, I think it's prudent to wait for confirmation from MVM.

Yet another announcement came whilst I was busy doing something else...

...but anyway...

MVM Entertainment license ToraDora for UK release by the end of this year. This includes a release on Blu-Ray.

Source: http://www.mvm-films.com/news?ID=2024

Incidentally, I believe this is the first time ever that a series licensed in the US by NISA has been announced for release in the UK.

Updated. I also noticed that I had missed the Girls und Panzer Blu Ray license.

Girls und Panzer was already licensed (although not yet released). It's a similar case with From the New World, Campione, Familiar of Zero and Accel World which also had blu-rays announced over the last few days - although Accel World was announced in January so does belong on this thread.

So was SSY already licensed in Australia or something?

I use the titles that the licensor has used for the series. Note also the use of "Familiar of Zero" rather than "Zero no Tsukaima".

And I don't follow Australian licenses, sorry.

Nobunaga, Nobunagun, and Hoozuki is getting licensed. Where's Strike the Blood, here I am planning on buying it as my first BD. (Of course I'm buying it for the uncensored version) sigh* T_T
