The Anime Network to stream IS: Infinite Stratos

The Anime Network has secured the rights to stream IS: Infinite Stratos through their online player. Episodes 1-3 will be released on Sunday, January 23rd at 8:30 PM (CST); all remaining episodes will also air on Sundays at the same time. The simulcast will be free-to-watch for all registered users, and also lists the season as being 12 episodes long.

Bleh 12 eps ensures this anime will go nowhere. Not that I had particularly high hopes for this in the first place, but still. Moving way too slow for a 12 ep anime. Barely going to finish getting all the characters introduced lol

Oh well, guess ill just enjoy qt lin

i dont care about harem but the action on this one is good, aerial battles are well animated

I don't watch too many harem shows so maybe I find it less annoying, but it doesn't seem to bother me to the same extent.

"I've seen loads of bad harem shows so I'm not watching another one" is flawed logic anyway.

If you think about IS as a Mecha anime and don't consciously try to dislike it by labelling it "Harem" before you even watch it through, then you might be able to enjoy it.

IS so far adapts one LN-chapter each episode. It could be up to 24episodes long that way. (Vol1-5 have exactly 24chapters. Vol6 came out just a month ago, so they most likely won't use it.)

Well, who knows what they do. They might also merge some stuff and use 4eps/volume, even though vol2+ have 5chapters each...

Honestly the only way this show might become something is being 24episodes. They introduce the characters rather slowly which hurts short 12ep shows. ("Wasting" half the show until the cast is established... isn't a good thing)

It could have been MUCH worse than it is. Sure the female lead is rather stupid, though that might also be partly because of the recent overuse of her VA.
Of course, you need to be able to deal with the "harem"-aspects, though I personally don't have big problems... yet. Kinda reminds me of Isekai, although Kenchi and the cast there were better than what I've seen so far from IS.

I loved Kampfer (Its German !) for its pointlessness and dumbness, you convinced me to watch this.

Country wars is one of my favorites of the season. It's so pointless and dumb that it's entertaining. Sort of like Kampfer..except with mecha.
