| I'm a little conflicted with this. I liked the first 9 eps, but then the last 3 eps just turned it into a typical shounen. I was expecting the show to just be about Medaka going around fulfilling requests in an entertaining way like in the first 9 eps, but then it just changed into a power-up anime out of nowhere. | Fuck yes. The stupid first episodes are not what I wanted. I thought they'd just skip through those. They finally made it to the good part of the manga, the fighting/action. So glad to see that they're continuing with it. Well done. |

If this is a Fall 2012 anime, it is going to be a busy autumn for shounen action since Code: Breaker, K and Zetsuen no Tempest are all premiering in the Fall. I wonder how many people will pick it up with the Flask Plan arc and it turning into a battle shounen series. As for sequels to Spring series, I will be thrilled when I hear of Nyarko-san Season 2. The projected sales certainly makes more of that realistic. |

But you know.... if you need 9 episodes to introduce 4 characters than there is something wrong with the show (not to mention that they still feel one dimensional at best). So maybe it will turn good in S2 but I don't think so... still there is manga as show itself - weakest in this season, I for one liked first episodes but than it went into Bleach and yet another unorginal shounen (featuring scary dwarf) |
