Tsuzuki Masaki's Original Anime Dog Days Confirmed

According to Newtype magazine February issue, Tsuzuki Masaki's original TV anime "Dog Days" was announced. It will be aired from this April.

Synopsis:
Republic of Biscotti faces a predicament by the invasion of Galette Leo Knights. In order to save the country, Princess Milchore summons a "hero" from the outer world. Shinku, a junior high school boy living in the Earth, is chosen as the hero.

Will watch, totally! *o* all the seiyuus are awesome... I nearly faint when I saw Kakihara and Koshimizu on it! let alone Ayana Taketatsu and Yoko Hikasa together again... this is a certain watch, I'm not going to miss it, no way!

supposedly, i was to avoid shows like these next season.. but the staff and cast just made my decision to waver.. Tsuzuki Masaki, please don't disappoint this Nanoha fan..

and here's to hoping Nana Mizuki makes another good OP/ED song..

I hate how many mahou shoujo anime is/will be released lately.
Will there be a lot of songs however? *looks at the cast*

Wow, lots of well-known seiyuus working on this one. The synopsis doesn't really seem interesting... Hopefully the anime will be better than what the summary offers

I was hoping that Biscotti was being threatened by the Hot Coffee Knights . Probably would make for a better anime, too.

...Lotta Nanoha cast involved. ZnT was garbage, but a few changes would improve it.

For those calling it a harem series...clearly you've NEVER heard of Nanoha. Which I would rather Tsuzuki work on, but I'll take a new anime in it's place for now.

A generic synopsis with ZnT similarities... Actually, I don't mind as long as it's executed well and develop outside the cliche. Will give it a try unlike some prejudicious people here

EDIT: Even the title seems to replicate what Saito, ZnT's main protagonist, goes through, and how he is called by his "master."

Great voice acting cast and if they follow the art style from White Album it will look great.

Too bad the story seems like a rehash of ZnT...I'll give it a try despite the generic synopsis.
