| While Yami no Matsuei is tagged as BL, it actually has no canonically homosexual relationships in it. The antagonist is the only canon queer character in the show, who admittetly often harrasses the protagonist, but this interest is definitely one-sided. Besides from this, the show has some subtext between the two main characters, but in the end there are also a lot of animes with similar subtext between some characters that are not considered BL, so maybe you could still give it a chance and watch a few episodes to see if its for you or not. |
