Fair enough I suppose. I wish it didn't bother me so much. I just hate feeling so engrossed in the world and then random comedy takes me out of it xD I really wish that was my sense of humor since anime does it a ton.

Ah, I personally dislike that style. Especially when it breaks the atmosphere of the show. Bride is so engrossing imo and the poorly placed comedy just wasn't for me XD Might I ask why you like comedy that breaks the flow of something? For me, it is personally something I really despise so it would be interesting to hear another perspective.

I do agree about the pacing problem you had with it though. Nice review overall :D

I think we might feel literally the exact same way about The Ancient Magus Bride Anime adaptation. I was wondering what your thoughts on the added comedy in the Anime. I know the Manga also had comedy but I felt it was super subtle and I thought the comedy in the Anime really broke the emersion sometimes.

Glad you were amused :) I want to replace it soon because it's kinda embarrassing... but after I had the idea (based on HaXXspetten's "your imouto will never betray you" sig), I couldn't not do it.

I was afraid thinking about it would ruin TLJ's Luke scenes for me, but thankfully that didn't happen.

Good evening. I hope you don't mind if a reply here. -- anyway, what made me like Overlord is that it's not generic. the "bad guys (and girls)" are literally, the main characters of the show. We watch it from the villain perspective. I like how Ainza save the villagers and the sisters from certain death... he may be an undead lich now, but still human enough mind to save people. :)
