i think its the fact that you have a problem with guys having girls as pfps makes it look like YOURE the insecure one. i would sooner be comfortable around a guy who doesnt give a shat about what their pfp is than someone who is personally offended by it |

| It's weird to assume that one chooses a pic because he identifies with the character, which is what OP seems to be doing. There are different people, and they do things for different reasons. But even if I were to do it thinking "I use the pic of this cute girl because I identify with her", I might be choosing to do it because of some other trait, such as the character's personality. Sex isn't the only trait that defines a character. I might be a girl, and choose a pic of the (male) protagonist of Fune wo Amu, not because I have some gender issues but because I like lexicography. In my case, I use this picture not because I identify with the character (I don't) or because I like her or the show she's from (I don't particularly) but because I find this gif funny. Don't read too much into it. |
