Most yuri don't even try to be subtle, but unlike the "popular with yuri fans" show, real yuri gets an adaptation once every 100 years. But then again, this is not a matter of our conversation.

Anime or a bunch of sites putting Yuri as a tag is irrelevant, it's just a bunch of users, not something official.

Also, I'm up to date to the LN (the manga so far is still adapting v1, while I'm on volume 5 of LN) and there's no Yuri, just yuri undertones with a few characters.

Sure there are some people that try to find yuri in every series that has "female bonding" but they are not a majority and most of them are maybe not as serious as they seem to be, the rest of them are just people that express their simple impression of a series and dont try to force you to accept their opinion as "law" as you make them to be

Havent accesed Series Discussion in almost 2 years, place was toxic but for diffrent reasons than "Yuri obsessed fanboys"

I didnt watched hibike euphonium and I do not try to excuse those who threw baseless accusations to Kyoani, but their behavior can also be explained by the fact that they watched too many "Boy x girl" romances and wanted something new in the form of yuri and in the end their hopes were shattered and unfortunately they turned their anger towards a totally inappropriate target
