| I feel like the Anohana scene doesn't give sad tears but maybe more wholesome tears. Me too dude, great moment. There are some pretty emotionally powerful scenes I've seen but truly sad ones I could mention would be the Devilman Crybaby's ending, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu's episode 11 in the second season, and Monster's episode 71. |

| The saddest scene I've ever watched is the ending of Plastic Memories. I wouldn't say I was crying, I never do during any anime/movie or anything, but I was tearing up during that scene. But of course, there were several other really sad ones, that made me tear up, but not as much as the above. | there are soooo many scenes that make me cry, but a lot of times it's more just me crying because of how emotional the scene is in general, not necessarily because i'm sad (sometimes i tend to happy cry a lot more than sad cry i think lol) but two i can think of that had me sobbing just from pure /sadness/ are: jojo - kakyoin's final moments when he is thinking about his family and how they'll never see him again :( hxh - in the chimera ant arc when killua starts crying bc gon told him like 'you have it easy since it means nothing to you' and he feels so broken cause he doesn't know how to help gon :( that shit hurted i just wanted to give my poor baby the biggest hug omg |

| I personally have quite a few: Steins;Gate Clannad After Story Well, most of the second half of Clannad After story had me tearing up, but episode 18 was the most memorable of the feels. Kobato. Most of the ending episodes were heartbreaking, to say the least. There are more, but those are the first ones that come to mind. |
