| Man.. i wish i never check the manga so i could feel this episode with every cells on my body... but the ost just keep giving me a goosebumps since the first episode that i had to, i don't even need to mention the animation. I know the story sometimes feels kinda slow but all of sudden the tension is back and come with multiple punch, starting from mama spider fight featuring water breathing technique 5th form at ep 16, followed by Zenitsu's fight at ep 17, they toned it down a bit at ep 18 but all that beautiful ost just made it up and then THIS, best episode of the series. |

| HOLY SHIT THE PRODUCTION!!! THE ANIMATION! THE SOUNDTRACK!! THE TRANSITIONS!! WOW!!! ABSOLUTE FIRE!!!!!! Seriously Ufotable literally took a rusty ball and polished it shining. This series would otherwise be a pretty typical ok ish action shounen if not for the amazing production effort by Ufotable. Every week just when you think the animations are too darn good they surpass it again next week. Damn!!! This is even better than FSN HF2 animations and I watched the movie twice. |

(Gong power up and the Edward brothers power up) Some people in Mal probably forgot they're watching an anime, not a masterfully written novel or something, so execution and production is actually everything. You don't need to have masterfully crafted story to get good result in anime medium, thus why the popularity of One Punch Man and Konosuba. On the other hand, you can have all the great plot you ever wanted still come out as total shit if your production / execution/ pacing/music is awful. This has been proven way too many times on anime and movies. |

| this is the best adaptation ive seen in my life. i remember reading this part in the manga and the feelings i had when i read it, but ufotable was able to bring it to a life so perfectly as to amplify the feelings i first had while reading the manga. never before have i been so impressed by an adaptation, and its been a hell of a long time since ive cried over an anime |

| Great episode. Best of series so far. The art, animation and music were all top, top notch. That final sequence was gorgeous. It also helped our eardrums immensely that we focused on our 2 MC's and not on the side characters |

We only had allusions to Tanjirou's dad before this, so bringing him in this episode and to show the significance of Tanjirou's bloodline feels less like a pull out of nowhere and more like utilizing a character that was foreshadowed for a while. 2.We also know that Nezuko hasn't awakened or found her Blood Demon Art yet - it was only a matter of time before she found out what it was and how to use it. To be fair, it almost seems obvious it would only awaken in a climatic moment because honestly it just adds another level on top of the emotional payoff that makes it cathartic, since her bond and care for her brother allowed her to find that power.
