A few things about my profile and my lists:

I don't like to watch/read bad anime/manga just for the sake of it, because it would be a waste of time so I am only looking out for series that I know I will probably enjoy based on things like synopsis/the people working on it/reviews/recommendations from friends. That's a reason why I give generally high ratings, with the exception of some seasonal anime that may or may not turn out to be good. I also consider every entertainment medium separate. So a 10/10 anime could be just an 8/10 compared with the best stories from the same genre but from a different medium.

My favorite genres are: Mystery/Sci-Fi/Drama. My favorite themes are: Psychological/Historical. I'm always up for a good Slice of life/Comedy as well. As for demographics, I tend to prefer the Shounen/Seinen stuff but I like a fair bit of Shoujo/Josei series as well.
