100% agree. Its more mature than average and that's already a bit of fresh air compared to most animes, but... thats about it. Even in this medium there are shows that can achieve depth with a real story rather than just telling us how deep it is through flashbacks and stuff. In any case for a 9.35/10 show it feels like they had the idea of making a show about "the meaning of human lives" and everything else came after. Rather than having an idea for a story that represents said theme. The result is an unfun episodic non-plot... with somewhat of an identity crisis as you say.

While writing the review I actually started to wonder whether the author picked the random words for names first and created the characters around the words. I would not be surprised if that were the case.

I'm not really a fens frieren, but I like the anime and I'm a fens cote. It also doesn't make sense to give a rating of 1 with an opinion that is unclear or unclear. At least give a clear opinion on the reasons why you give a rating of 1. They are called haters because their favorite anime was removed from the top 1 mal

At least Frieren fans don't harass other fanbases into thinking it's the greatest thing ever, like Demon Slayer fans. Go on any anime poll on instagram, twitter, etc., and you'll see KNY fans saying that other anime fans are just "being different just cuz lol" whenever someone disagrees with their opinion. Also, Demon Slayer tries way too hard to be pretentious by inserting emotionally hamfisted flashbacks as a means to add depth to its narratives. You don't have to agree with what I'm saying, but you have to be living under a rock if you think that Demon Slayer fans don't throw temper tantrums online whenever someone doesn't agree with their opinion.

Aquele Clannad Afterstory e FMAB de lei no topo tb, curti. Preciso atualizar a minha lista de favoritos faz um bom tempo, acho que vou fazer isso quando tiver um tempo livre.

ToraDora é bom, mas se não gostar do final tem a VN de PSP (e vários vídeos no YouTube) com uns finais alternativos.

I know ANR, I think it's a pretty good theory and makes complete sense. Official manga/anime was a disaster, the worst conclusion I've ever seen in anime. It's a disgrace. 10 years waiting since S1 all for it to end like that.
