| Bizarre story (I love it). But, I'm now drooling in this beautiful artistic style and fluid animation. Man, the ending is pretty cool too. Best ending. |

| Somehow this was even crazier than what I expected... I think I love it. It was a bit confusing at first, but I think I can follow. The main trio is pretty cool, the imagery was wild, and I certainly wasn't expecting a few things. Like the main character's secret, and the policemen being able to "extract" desires in another way like that. Welp, the "kappazon" boxes were cool too, the anime is gorgeous, the OP & ED are pretty cool, and I think that I'm in for a crazy, but enjoyable ride. |

| I don't know if I'm right, but the scene where they're being 'reborn' to a kappa and the prince of kappa said "dead as you're alive" possibly means human can't live without connection, they're dead as they're alive. I still don't know the meaning behind the letter "A", maybe someone can figure it out? Because this is I think the most important part. also meme of the season  |

| Anyone even remotely surprised/flabbergasted/confused by this has clearly not looked into the staff list and recognized the name Ikuhara. Looking how much his name is thrown around now upon this rather extreme reaction makes me think enough people will be at least aware of him from now on. So yeah, do yourself a favour and check out his other works. There is a reason why he's so unique and has inspired a new generation to follow suit. |

| Completely amazed, probably one of the best first episode of this season so far. The visuals are clean and the animation is so dynamic. I would assume the similarity to shows like Bakemonogatari and even Mawaru Penguindrum is because of Nobuyuki Takeuchi. I already knew about the story of kappa taking the organ out of asses but to see it animated like this was hilariously disturbing. Especially so with the anal birthing scenes. Oh and Kanaboom doing the OP. |

| An anime that is literally about eating ass. because why not. I will say I was slightly disappointed of how the PVs were a little misleading. I was hoping the whole anime's background setting was going to be real life camera video footage; but the shots used in the PV all came from the ED. But nonetheless, the background art for the anime is still very clean and fresh. |

| Yeahh, that was a mind blowing shit with lots of anuses, boxes with secrets, cross dresser, thief, nerd, idol but more importantly 'kappas'. I think it had a hidden message in this episode but I was too mesmerized to notice. I think it had to do with being 'connected and secrets' stuff. Anyhow it was a good opening episode and the animation was splendid. |

| fucking A Ikuhara this was just a blast to watch was both beautifully animated and disgusting at the same time while still having that randomness we come to expect from him leaving us 90% confused till the end. but how you gonna play us like that i guess if all the years of doing stuff with girls its the boys turn the bait with the idol got me so good i mean at least theres the twin tail sensei? and boy both the OP and ED are great man i just really liked looking at how clean and colorful this whole thing was |

| 6-8 months ago it occurs to me the most recent thing I've seen directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara was yuri kuma arashi in 2012. Look him up on MAL and see he has a new series coming up next spring. Excited. LOOOOOOOTS of things I've noticed, either that I can connect or that I don't understand, but that seem to be intentional. Based on my experience with Utena, and Penguindrum you have to pay close attention to what's going on. From penguindrum, many, but not all, of the background characters are faceless figures I know kero is like Ribbit but I don't see how three different kids mistook Keppi for a frog. Also, like in penguindrum, focus on an unusual animal or creature. I don't know what kappas are supposed to be in this series, other than that they're EVERYWHERE. I think they kidnap children? Like, be careful near the water or the kappa will drown you? Fitting for how Keppi acted. -Dreams/secrets/desires; the title sounds to me like "I want to make friends/relate to people/be outgoing etc. but that requires sharing things about myself, being vulnerable, trusting others which is scary", and the show exaggerated the issue by having the boys' secrets revealed (though I didn't see any kind of realization or secret from Enta?) -Boxes carry/hide things, I think it's intentional that the logo is a parody of Amazon. -Multiple instances of the other kid waking up, finding himself in a different location -Anal violation...I don't know what to make of that -All those circles of the weasel looking creature made me think of the kamaitachi, another yokai, and the boys sort of imitate one to cut down the box monster but I don't know of it's another connection or just a cool fictional monster -That little circle that looked very purposely like a wi-fi connection signal, and the multiple references/focus on smart phones Not sure how everything fits together yet. Maybe a little concerned on whether 11 eps is long enough but I felt the same with Kuma Arashi and I'm not sure if that series needed more episodes to tell its story, it was just over quicker than the ones before it. Pretty excited to see where this one goes. |

| Wonder if the main character is trans or just enjoys crossdressing. Not sure how Ikuhara wants to tackle that. Anyway... definitely going to be a series heavy on the gay sex metaphors. |
