A kinda silly question, but who do you think it is? Who has highest kill count?

Characters that destroys a world, someone from Dragonball like Beerus.

Can also apply omnipotent characters who destroys a universe, something like a Tenchi character would do.

Jesus... I guess this question is not technically logical because each series exists in its own universe with its own boundaries... So like in Naruto Shippuden, you can bring fucking meteors crashing down on people... But in Death Note... You can use a book to kill one person at a time... So it's pretty much a moot question...

Majin Buu I guess, since he killed almost every single human on Dragon Ball's version of Earth, without blowing up the planet. Assuming that DB's Earth had 6 billion people like our Earth did in the early 90s.

Hmm...

Beerus
Gurren Lagann
And, probably not as well known, but I think the Dirty Pair has a ridiculously high kill count for a pair of humans given how many planets they blow up. XD

Hitler, cause he is presented in various animes/mangas, and, unlike other fictional genocides, he was real.
He is also the person of the "People" list in MAL's database who has killed the biggest number of people (as far as I know).

The 17th Angel in NGE I guess , dunno , haven't seen The End of Evangelion ...

Buu destroys Planet Earth and even manages to destroy other planets so...

what about Earl Sinclair from Dinosaurs? the madafaka destroys the world by himself.

Edit : We shouldn't count Db Characters as even Yamcha could destroy a planet in that universe...

Some of the characters (like Shinji from NGE) destroy the whole world so they killed a lot of people. But if we dont count them then I would say Light but I didnt see many shows yet

From the anime's I have completed so far.

Father from FMA:B He killed 50 mil people in one go...sure they were brought back to life shortly but still.

Also Light Yagami from Death Note. Who knows how many he has killed in his time of having the note book.

This is just based on all the animes I have completed. Mayne ot will change eventually.

Guts from Berserk killed 100 people in one fight.

That's not much compared to others people are listing, though.

Father, if I remember correctly, only killed a number on the order millions, and some of them don't entirely count on account of the reverse transmutation (assuming Brotherhood correctly adapted that from the manga).

I can definitely agree with Shinji and Rei's wiping out of billions in NGE, but I guess I have to concede the timeline nuking is probably going to clock a higher number of deaths.

For direct and intentional kills I'll nominate Tanya Degurechaff but only a dishonourable mention there'll be someone with more.

It really seems like we really need to have some kind of category system like one-on-one kills, militia kills, collateral damage, super weapon mega kills.

Ah, but how many were killed as a result of the military actions Tanya either lead or planned? Do those kills count against her tally?

Probably Simon and the Anti-Spiral in Gurren Lagaan since they were throwing galaxies at each other. Other top candidate is Zeno in Dragon Ball Super since he's wiped a solid 6 universes from existence, though they seemed to be pretty sparsely populated.

I don't think Zeno erasing a whole universe can count; that's not killing, that's only vanishing without even leaving any trace. It's a different action.

For someone to be killed....his life is taken away, his body ceases vital functions, but his soul goes "somewhere else beyond", which is not the case for Zeno erasing universes because doing so he's also erasing that "beyond world" in the process.

I would say Zeno-sama from dragon ball super (He erased 7+6 universes....)
The Gods of Destruction e.g. Beerus (as the title says he destroys stuff)
Goku Black and Zamasu (killed everyone in 12 universes)
Super Buu
Frieza
Vegeta
I will just stop here now....
