Great episode this week~! A few of my favorite 4komas made it in and there was even the 8Bit OP-ending! Talk about good stuff.

On the other hand, Dragon Ball's Zen-Oh was voicing Popuko. By the sheer combination of these two cute beings, I think our universe has been absolutely blessed, and nothing can ever top this anymore.

Hellshake Yano anime adaptation when?

It took me the second time watching to understand what actually happened in the French skit. XDD

Pokemon parody was gold. XD
I was just thinking it'd be so cool if they made the ED 8 bit and they did, that was awesome.

Damn, I love when they do different animation styles, no matter how dumb or funny they may be. Also, are the guys doing the Hellshake Yano skit the same voice actors for Bob Team Epic?

This week's featured seiyuu are :

Part 1 : Koorogi Satomi x Yajima Akiko <----- Yay for Shin-chan pairing !

Part 2 : Morikubo Shoutarou x Toriumi Kousuke

The French segment never fails to make me laugh but I have to wonder to what extent non-French people can enjoy it. It's not just a matter of language but also knowing the country. It was particularly obvious in this episode.

Pretty funny episode, especially seeing the voice actors doing the Hellshake Yano skit. That was well done. The Pokemon reference was amusing.

I fear we reached our peak with Marilyn Monroe. This episode was better than the last one but only got a few chuckles out of me and no real uproaring laughter. Then again, this is traditionally how I feel about Internet shitposting - some of it is hysterical, while some of it flies right over my head.

Best episode so far and more of my favorite VAs.
Hellshake Yano part was amazing, I've never seen something like this in anime. That was perfect.
And they referenced Undertale! I wonder if Toby knows?
Last skit was every gameplayer, always. I enjoyed it so much!

Okay that Hellshake Yano skit was amazing.

Lot more gaming references in this one too! I almost feel like they were making fun of pokemon creepypastas and referencing another game, but I'm not too sure??? Also Undertale? Wow.

Also bless the french skit, he's back once again.

I wish I was better versed in the voice actors, since the team ups do go over my head sometimes but I seem to be noticing their pattern of getting voice actors that have worked together to do skits together? I can only assume it's so they can play off each other better since they'd know each other but I dunno!

All and all I've enjoyed this episode very much!

the Hellshake Yano part was very cool, they taking flip book to another level, that need some skills to do it in one take. and the 8bit version of the ED is catchy as hell.

Exactly my thoughts! Especially with Undertale and Pokemon I laughed so hard, like the people making this anime, they seem to have so much fun animating it and doing all these sketches. It's becoming one of my favourite (absurd)comedies of all time.

That Bob Epic Team with the Hellshake Yano notepads was so great. It must've taken a lot of practice to get that down perfectly. It was so funny. It just goes to show the creativity in this show.

The bicycle seat skit was hilarious, so glad they animated the Blu-Ray version joke.

The shitty game skit was the perfect skit to end on.

Great comeback from episode 6.

I think episode 6 was really lacking in funny skits, and 7 came and launched back with some very iconic moments.

I CANNOT believe they did the Mettaton scene!!! (I feel like they thought they could get away with it, which is why they pushed the visual as closely as they did. Toby Fox even commented on it on Twitter which is hilarious.)

Just like the rest of the comments though, Hellshake Yano was the true star of this episode. I'm super glad they brought back Japonmignon! I know it's super expensive to make that skit, so it's good to see it back despite that hurdle.

Wow, this was pretty great overall.

Not only was the Hellshake Yano skit a deluxe version of BTE, but better (and it doesn't have a gross artstyle, actually, it's live action) there's no animation just flipping notebooks, the coordination the two actors had was incredible and it was pretty funny overall.

The gags adapted from the manga were pretty great: we got the Blu-Ray gag, the fishing gag, the "I'm not gonna play this game ever again" gag. Pretty great.

Undertale reference, yeah, I'm sure that's one of the few everyone will get.

I liked the female VAs better here (they're from Shin-chan, I think?) Popuko had a chibi voice (was it Himawari?) and Pipimi had a more... Shin-chan-esque voice, I mean, pretty sure she was voiced by her VA and her execution in the skits was pretty great.

Overall 5/5, one of the best yet.

So, not to beat a dead horse, but... That Hellshake Yano segment deserves all the praise it can get, that was amazing, so creative, and so well coordinated. There were lots of other great gags too, like the Pokemon reference, the Blu-ray version joke, and every gamer ever XD And the 8-bit ED was awesome.

It just goes to show: even shit-posting can have high production values.

This week's episode, really ♥

The Hellshake Yano skit was absolutely outstanding! That perfect sync and execution were most admirable.

Loved the references, especially the Undertale-related one. It killed me in an instant. I had to restrain myself from laughing, since, well, it's the dead of night here, but this episode in general was really enjoyable!

And let me tell you that Satomi Koorogi did an amazing job here. Her cuteness almost gave me diabetes, so... please excuse me while I throw hearts and sparkles all over the place ♥

@MiraLynik I noticed that too! The fishing scene was undoubtedly based on Gon catching the Lord of the Lake (which by the way made me smile like an idiot because, damn, I miss HxH so much).

Hater!

Ok...that live-action flip book Hellshake Yano section was genius. Holy crap all the drawings and pages they had to use. They had to perform that spot on. I wonder how long it took for them to make and choreograph that. 10/10 right there. Give those guys a round of applause.

Popuko's super cute voice acting was spot on too.

Also, if you read the interview with the producer, the French section was all animated by that one guy. It's a short segment, but it's great.

After last week's disappointing episode, the show bounces back with a stroke of pure genius again. The guys at AC-Bu went all out on this one, and it paid off very well, as that Hellshake Yano segment (which again built upon a joke from an earlier episode) was excellent. Also nice to see the actual faces of the animators/voice actors. These guys are incredibly versatile and deserve all the praise they can get.

And I missed the pixel art segments, so good to have them back again this week. This is the second time they referenced Undertale, and it's nice to hear that Toby Fox himself was also amused.

The French guy also makes his return, though the skit itself wasn't all that amusing IMO. Oh well, given that this is a one-m,an effort in terms of animation, he deserves at least some praise for that.

And then we get an 8-bit rendition of the ED. As if the show couldn't get any more random.

I liked the female VA bit more than the male ones, though I didn't recognize any of then.

The explanation beforehand by the animator was very helpful, but to be honest the visual gag would have worked anyway, just not as well.

Only the voices in the actual animation were switched (IOW, the guy who normally does Popuko was now voicing Pipimi, and vice versa), everything else was the same.
