I mean he can be really annoying but despite of that, what makes his character enjoyable is how flawed he is. The author didn't shy away from presenting him as a hot-headed, easily-triggered boy and as someone who's severely lacking in the intelligence department. Anyways, this poll looks more and more ridiculous the more I try to get my brain functioning to analyze the thought process behind the results. I will stay away from it for now. |

Celebrating 100 years with the top characters and most of them showing up from shows within the last 5 is clearly not how the poll should have been done. Data should have been gathered from several decades and the trends of who was peoples' favorites showing the changing taste of the average anime viewer over the years. At this stage, I am surprised Char even made the list (maybe it is due to Origins. idk). This is clearly a "who is your favorite character right now" poll with a few actual answers from clearly better shows thrown in. Literally the only show that has not had new content in the last 10 years is Yu Yu Hakusho (and maybe Cardcaptor Sakura and Prince of Tennis if you wanna get technical).
