But you'll already have a pretty good idea what's up by the end of the first half, so you should get that out of the way asap if you want to understand things more clearly. |

| Okay, so there's these alternate timelines that can also intersect with each other, so that's why he went back in time and Makise Kurisu was doing the lecture instead of that other guy, and it's the same reason she didn't die... I get that much... but damn, that gel-nana thing threw me for a loop... Now I'm thoroughly confused. I guess it'll be explained soon. |

| (rewatching) In the first episode, everyone at the conference knew who John Titor was. In this episode, nobody knows who he is. Makise's arguments rekt Okabe. His reaction seeing her really would come off as "creepy". He poked her. lol The gel-banana is back with the bunch... what ever could it mean?... |

| Good he poked her just like in VN. Ah they skipped out on the detailed time travelling theories. "But he's a guy" vs "is a dude" in eng version, interesting. Yay suzuha, aw her voice ):. Then how the people who said it's good survived without understanding anything each week? Ruka... Trap at the next level. That moment when you've watched to much anime that you can know HanaKana and Tamura Yukari's voice in one line. |

| Okay, so they're using the parallel universes theory in order to avoid paradoxes. Nothing new here, but what matters is ultimately the execution, so I'll be waiting to see what they do with it. So far I'm greatly enjoying the show, and Okabe honestly cracks me up: "Sara, Claudia... SimOOOOooowwne" I was on the fucking floor, man. The character interactions are also nice and refreshing: it all flows very naturally in the case of Daru/Okabe/Mayuri especially you can really feel that they've known each other for quite some time. Kurisu also looks like she's gonna be a great addition to the Future-whatever-the-fuck-its-name-is Laboratory. The only character I'm a bit on the fence with sofar is Faris: not that I straight up dislike her, but her voice and mannerisms are just insufferable to me. Anyway, really enjoyed this episode. |

| -Ruka is a master trap -Kurisu is adorable when she's flustered, a contrast to the initial impression she made. -I like the chemistry between Okabe, Daru, and Mayuri. -What was up with that mysterious woman taking pictures of Okabe? -The banana. Awww shiiit. |

| Okay, I was really confused the first episode. Things started falling into place a LITTLE more, not much, but at least I'm on the same train of thought. So, does he hold a special power? The John Titor segment intrigued me. Hopefully, he will track him down later. And, I'm all about some string theory, time travel, but I'm not sure if I am ready to experience it through anime! Should be a fun series. |

| I am glad I gave this another chance after I dropped it after one episode years ago... but I am surprised to see all those comments of people not understanding anything and being confused. 1. The story just started, so of course we don't know any details yet. 2. I found the time travel stuff / science that's been established so far very straightforward and simple when compared to other stories. I am curious to see how this progresses and if the ratings can be trusted, I am sure I will end up liking this anime, too! |

| Is "Too-too-too!" Some kind of password or is it just how Mayuri say hi to people? In any case, it's cute. Ruka is a guy?! A TRAP!!! I can't even really see any similarities that he has to an average male appearance. This is some next level trap! So in this show, the concept of time travel is a multiverse kind of timeline huh, the one that if one were to change something in a timeline, rather than changing the original timeline itself, it instead creates a new timeline, one is the original with no changes and one is the new timeline with the change. [b](By timeline I'm referring to 'Worldlines') Mayuri works in a maid cafe and Okabe is a University Student that calls himself a 'Mad Scientist' with a fitting laugh, what an interesting combination. They're childhood friends though. |
