| Don't really get why people are praising this so highly. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing like many people are saying. Sure the animation was nice but that's about all I could say that was really good from it. To me this just seemed like a music promotion method. People are saying it was so emotionally gripping but in my eyes it just uses cheap tricks to make people perceive it that way. Well whatever, just different opinions I suppose. But I aint fooled by no cheap tricks. |

| I came for this comment thread. Half the people doing cry faces and half the people being super cool edge-lords. I liked it a lot but it ticked all of the boxes for me. Liked the music alot, loved the animation, had a cool little idea that reminded me of SOMA and another sci-fi movie I saw years ago about a space ship that just carried a virtual reality fake world for people to live in. Hinted at a cool world behind the music video and I'd like to see it get explored if they decided to make a movie or show out of this. Please note to everyone though. This is a 5-6 minute music video. It isn't a 26 episode long anime series. If you are going to complain that "It used quick tricks" or "It was cliched" or "It didn't explain X well enough", you need to reevaluate your snobby attitude because that's just gotten to a sad level. |

Maybe my taste in music (no idea what genre the song was but definitely not my style...) and lack of attachment to the artists left me hanging? :/ |
| I feel like I'm gonna be in the minority here... Yeah it was nicely animated and generally looked good, but I just couldn't really connect with any of the emotions. Didn't really think the music fit that well either, but I've never really been into that type of music much so maybe that's why. I gave it a 6 overall, it looked solid but didn't really have any emotional impact on me |

Never heard of both Porter Robinson + Madeon before but because of this great work, I think I'm motivated to look at their works in the near future. Really do hope to have more of these types of AMVs in the future. |

| Better of dead? First, I dont have any background information, so the following thoughts are just assumptions from what Ive seen and thus my own interpretaions.. Feel free to correct me. So, I think planet earth or another planet was near destruction and she was send in a capsule by her father into space with the hope to get found by another alien race or something else? Probably to 1. not get mad and 2. to save energy she is put into a sleep and lives in a virtual dream world where she can create/draw her own visions and fake realities. But this VR world doesnt seem to have any AI nor any connections to other humans floating around with her, so she cant create nor interact with other beings. It just seems optical and thus meaningless in my opinion. The way it seems it is quite unrealistic that she will ever be found or saved and she will spend her whole live in her dream world, which totally suxx. You either create a world as Matrix, where you can interact with other human beings or with an AI, but the version presented in this short music clip seems so horrible. She probably will last 80+ years with neverending flashbacks of her childhood and her drawig some meaningless fake worlds. Her existence is meaningless and actually is literally a life time torture. Imo it would have been better, if her father didnt send her into space at all and would have spend the rest of their short life together on earth. Such a depressing setting. |

| Reminds me of "The Veldt" both the novel by Ray Bradbury and the song it inspired made by Deadmau5. I loved both of those and I love this shit by Porter Robinson and A-1. Hands-down the best music video I've seen and I will get the song for sure. Fuark I hope the video goes viral and becomes a huge hit. |
