| Holy hell, that's some consistently good animation there. Overall a very cute and great start. Got Bunny Drop vibes, but this stands out in its own way. Can't help but think this is a way for Japan to convince otaku to do something about the declining birthrates haha. |

| Even tho I like how they use a kid to voice for a kid, her voice does not match at all. I prefer those older VA that have a kid voice over this one here. Overall, the episode is enjoyable. I will get use to the voice for now anyway. |

| Hmm, Kotori was a bit too much blushy-blushy here (as opposed to her being a bit more cool/deadpan in the manga), but otherwise good adaption of the first chapter of the manga. |

| This was a great adaptation! It pretty much had everything that I could remember from the manga. Plus since this is more of a slice of life, with a semi story, I can't remember everything that happens in the manga, so it's like I'm watching it for the first time....which for me is very enjoyable. |

Please no. What are you thinking. Bringing romance and drama into this kind of anime is bad, especially romance between a teacher and student. His wife died not long ago. It doesnt fit in any way and it would look weird. Primary this is a comedy with fluffy moments between father and daughter and cooking/eating stuff and enjoying everyday life. Romance would ruin it. I can't help it. I'm a sucker for romance, especially forbidden romance ;) I don't need ecchi. If they could just warm up to each other over the whole season... or make it like in Garden of Words. They don't need to act on their feelings, a pat on the head here, a hug there or sitting next to each other watching Magi-Girl with Tsumugi...<nosebleed> |

| for unkowns reasons I end watching it... ok maybe because it reminds me to Usagi Drop and Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! (wow, that last one watched ages ago and wasn't in my animelist until now, thanks for Amaama to Inazuma for add them). It was a nice 1st episode, looking forward for the next one! |
| Hey that weird kid in Barakmon is now the MC of this anime, for a sec I thought it's the same VA as Naru since their characters have so much in common. I'm fine with Barakamon, adore Usagi drop, but this is bland and dull as hell. Like at least show some self-awareness when you present the done-to-dead dead parent trope for some cheap sympathy from the audience. It's so embarrassing when you compare it to the aforementioned titles that are more natural and less intrusive. It shouldn't automatically get a pass just because the premise is about the less offensive thing in this season or the feminine side gets the best of you. This is not real life, this is fiction, TRY HARDER. Maybe it's a parallel world of Clannad where Tomoya became a teacher and Ushio refused to die. But life goes on. |

| The loli's voice kinda annoys me from time to time so I couldn't enjoy this as much as I'd like to. Besides that though, I wasn't expecting some tragic backstory stuff but the feels and all of that didn't really get to me yet. I think the show will still be enjoyable regardless, hopefully that's the case. |

| Fantastic first episode. This show is so sweet & adorable. Sweet OP song & nice ED song. Art & Animation is great. The Sakura blossoms look stunning. Tsumugi is so loveable & adorable. She sounds so good. Great VA choice. Kouhei is such an awesome father. Must be hard being a single father. Kotori is cute as well. I like the simple detail in the rice & how it was prepared. Cannot wait to see what other delicious food they make. So many feels!! Kouhei crying because Tsumugi enjoys the food so much. AWWWW!! Looking forward to seeing more. |

| SOL AOTS has arrived. For anyone who hasn't read the manga, I highly recommend you do it after watching this season (or heck, just go read it now). Prepare for a lot of laughter, a lot of fun times and a LOT of feels. As a guy, even I recommend you have some tissues by you just in case. As for this episode, they adapted it perfectly. Tsumugi is an angel and any father would love to raise someone with an attitude and character like hers. 10/10 for sure |

Tsumugi doesn't know the truth huh. 6/5 Actually, she knows her moms gone and she will only get to see her when she's "really really old" Kouhei being the inexperienced father he is told her a half-truth, since she's still in kindergarten and wouldn't understand the concept of death all that well. It's a shame they probably won't animate the chapter where Tsumugi visits her great grandmother, otherwise you would get to see how much she understands of her situation (more than you'd expect actually). The show doesn't make a point of dwelling on grief and instead chooses to focus on the aspects of living life to your fullest. It's got a beautifully positive message that pops up quite often. |

| dawww looks like i got my relaxing show for mondays already ! at first i thought it was a different sounding Naru which is close since it's Hina her voice is a little on the high pitch side but it's passable hopefully this focus on Family and comedy |

| This was so cute, definitely one of the best episode 1's of this season so far! Yotsubato was my introduction into anime/manga so I have a real sweet spot for this kind of thing when the episode ended I was genuinely so upset cause I just wanted to binge the whole show in one sitting lmao |

| Gosh Tsumugi is just too f...ing kawaii!!! This is like the love child of Usagi Drop and Koufuku Graffiti, who'd have thought that can happen? there's already slight feels from the get go and you know there's going to be even more going forward. Also, the best ED this season so far!! |
