| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Weird finale. It feels more like advertising of the team and competitions. First half was also blend with montage of their training, goals, etc. Yeah, I think the finale was rather underwhelming. Episode 11 felt more like the finale episode imo. On the plus side, the music used in this episode seemed decent. Listening with headphones bought out a fresh feel of energy. The music of that last race~ |

| Nobu's character recommending Kimura-san's character to be the final runner, which the opponent team would definitely assign his brother. Kimura-san's character also wants to run against him. Last spurt for the competition against the girl's father's team. "Kimezerifu dorobou" again lol~. Idol team came to cheer up on them. Lots of feelings while running (and seeing other teams they run against cheering for them). Then time skip to regular school life. But the magazine at the end shows that they won. Their stride don't end. |

| This final had me very very emotional lol Not the best sports anime that I've seen but it's not the worse either and I found myself more so invested in the characters rather than the races and this is where I think the series suceeded the most Great finale overall and even though the races weren't all that special, I still enjoyed them and for that I'll give this a low 7/10 |
| I agree with Stark, EP11 was the climax of the season while this just felt like a formality. The race itself was easily the most boring. "Here, have some feels," Stride said to us, thinking we'd only focus on that. Wasn't the worst show ever, not even the worst of the season, but it's one of the most forgettable. |

| Nice finale. I liked the 11th episode more, it felt more epic for some reason. As for the whole show, I have to give it a solid 8/10. It had nice characters and character development, the races were intense and the show was really emotional. Had me almost in tears multiple times. |
| ep 11's race was more exciting than this, since this episode mainly focused on their power of friendship and that stuff lol. 5/10 from me, can't really say this series was memorable or anything. |

| That was disappointing... This is probably one of the few fujo-bait anime I don't like. And them winning came out of no-where. They could've lost and still have an emotional end. In fact, them losing would show that, although they've tried, they still have a long way to go. They got rekt by Tomoe's team not long ago and now they suddenly win? The MCs in other anime at least get some magical powerup... -_-' The second half of the anime, excluding episode 11, was just kinda meh -bad in general. 'Tis a shame. That said, I came here for the VAs, so it's not like anything was lost. #KugaandSuwabe2k16 The characters were enjoyable, so that's okay too. 5.5-6/10 |

| Honestly this race and finale was pretty underwhelming because of all the "power of feelings and friendship" stuff. I mean, yeah we all knew Honan would win since they're the main team but I just don't like how they won all of a sudden after getting thrashed by Kakyoin not too much earlier. Well, this series started off pretty decently, but the latter half had a little too much annoying drama for my tastes and this ending wasn't very satisfying. 5/10, at least the races were occasionally fun to watch. |

| So much of the whole Connecting Emotions completely overwhelmed the race. Wish they focused on the race more and actually showed more of it, Honan actually won. I find it hard to believe that Riku beat Tomoe but whatever. 6/10 for me, Stride just doesn't have the Passion, Excitement and Energy that most Sports show possess. It was just melodrama at some points. |

| I can't believe they skipped showing most of the race. The stride gimmicks are what attract me most for this show so it's a major disappointment. They tried to fit too many things in the final episode and it was rushed. I liked the final wrapping up scene because that was the only thing not rushed. I really wanted to like this show but it's been downhill for me ever since peaking at ep 6 (which had awesome parkour animation). The plot didn't really have much and the insignificant rival teams were full of one-dimensional jerks. Probably just gonna remember this show for the awesome visuals/colour palette. Underwhelming show only boosted by Madhouse's production. 6/10 |

| I really hated the fact that the episode of the last race barely showed them running, I mean, they didn't even show us the end of the race they just showed us a magazine. It was a bit disappointing actually, I was so pumped up but it was a flop. Overall I think the anime was OK, nothing special, was expecting more, but I think that if the anime was 24 episodes long it would have been better but oh well. |

| I was expecting a full fledged finale between the two, but they had to use 75% of the whole episode for just talks and waiting in anticipation for the final race... | Too much flashbacks, talking, pointless cutscenes; too little running. Like they completely skipped over the 2nd and 3rd sections of the race; no intense action build up. |

| I really enjoyed this as a series but this as a final episode felt very lackluster. Episode 11 felt like more of a finale. Also kind of pissed they didnt show the end of the race, I was really looking forward to that so it feels like a bit of a cop out. 7/10 |

| I don't think just the finale was underwhelming, I think the whole entire anime was. Expected a lot more from this. Especially from Madhouse of all people, even if it was based on a game. Agree, just like a lot of other anime I could think of, the second to last episode felt more like the actual last episode. This anime indeed did have good music (fit the series nicely), a wonderful top-notch cast of seiyuu, a good colorful aesthetic, I got some enjoyment and entertainment from the characters, however, overall it was very underwhelming, as I previously stated. Had potential, didn't utilize it. Quite unsatisfying. Was a bit unnecessarily dramatic at times. Though, I guess that could've been expected. Also, in general I'm not much a fan of drama, so I can see why I wouldn't enjoy those aspects. With that said, would love to see some more anime or manga take on freerunning or "stride"! The sport has the ability to be engaging and energetic. In the end a 5/10 or 6/10 for me. |

| Well as expected they won... thanks to their super strong connected feelings lol this was so cheesy >< If in every sport anime they could win because of their strong emotions that would be funny I laughed when Riku said they ran against lots of team xD So 3 teams is considered a lot huh And they even came to cheer them on even though they were total jerks except for Saisei |
| Oh,so they did win after all. How unexpected,lol. Not gonna lie,I actually wanted them to lose for the angst to ruin that cheesy melodrama builded during the entire show episode, but it was obvious it wouldn't happen. Nevertheless,PoS had the best OP and best OST of winter. |
| the speech of Riku given to Tomoe was very emotional but this last race is the worst (as viewer terms) since they skipped the scenes in other to set that speech, would be nice if they animated all the full race of the good ending sake. Tomoe smiled ;v; buut they no show who win until the end of the episode in form of magnazine (really, was very emotional until that "cliffhanger".....really wanted see the cross line) I would say a 7/10, have pretty good stuff (mostly the full animated races like vs Saisei are the best, Takeru & Riku friendship) but they screw it in alot stuff (Riku's trauma is so dumb, this episode 12, etc). |
| The direction wasn't good in the final episode. The first half felt very epilogue-y, the Stride race lacked tension, and it felt too sentimental for its own good. Overall, decent series. 2/5 |

| I liked the end (though it was obvious) but I do not like that should not happen in full race, putting in place the memories and feelings of the characters. Not to offend, they tend to like that kind of situation, but this time not used correctly. Besides that happened with Sakurai and his father, made peace? He understood the passion of his daughter but not in a school of Elite? |

| I'm not gonna lie. After the first episode, I thought this was gonna be awesome. Too bad episode 1 was the peak for this xD. Every episode made this show worse and worse and now this finale is literally the cherry on top. The forced drama with tomoe and his brother wasted like 2 or 3 episodes and it was kind of irritating. 6/10 for this cheesecake |

| I enjoyed the whole show.It wasnt the best sports anime ever,but it was decent.Good voice acting,the characters were cool and music was on point.Story was mediocre and weird pacing were the issues. 6/10 |
