Oh great, it's one of those fillerish episodes. I guess it's back to school.

One thing I did like about the episode though is the OST; In fact, that and the OP song are pretty pleasant to hear imo. Holy shit, that background music played on at least 4 minutes. Mm, some of the flying were okay I guess..

Tough guy .jpg at the end.

Holy...That OST was beautiful during the school scene!!! Glad they graduated : ) I hope they will no longer be called the "Fail Five" "Team Fail" etc. Prove those students and everyone wrong XD. Damn that tense scene with the alien race. Royalties and general 0__0. Next week looks promising

Some might call it filler episode but I call it "best episode so far".
Well I guess I am just not really a fan of this genre, so I enjoy having breaks from all that space fighting.

I liked it particularly becauce of some more character information. So far I had no real connection to them, so this is a much needed episode I think!

Edit:
Forgot this:
4/5 for this episode for me but still "only" 6/10 in general. I hope I can enjoy it more in the future.

Also..........am I the ONLY one who thinks it's ridiculus that this captain or whoever he is has this strange looking thing in front of his eyes blocking his eyesight completely? I mean, that's what it looks like to me at least... XD

It is most definitely NOT a filler episode (how can you call an episode with an important event like graduation a filler?) and I am inclined tosay that it is one of the better, if not the best, episode so far. The way the conclusion of a phase of their soldier career is very well handled and we get to see the Zannen Five finally winning acceptance by their classmates. The new "full armor" outfit of Blue One and Red Five and its linkage sequence are all impressive. And we finally catch a proper glimpse of the enemy the Earth people are facing. If you say filler, I would ask what were you watching?!?
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Well, I think some people would call it that when there is no fighting in an Anime that usually revolves about fighting! XD
I only really used this expression to be honest because the first poster used it, too, without really thinking about it.

This episode was okay, it wasn't bad or good, just average.

The graduation episodes are supposed to be emotional and make you a little teary-eyed as you remember all the memories of what the main characters have gone through and how they've grown and become the new stronger MCs you see today. However, the problem is... this is only episode 6.

We have barely seen this school, we've never really seen the team there and we've barely spent time with them as is. They are trying to make us feel nostalgic for a place we've never seen. The music is good, but it's emotionally manipulative in trying to force us to cry when we really feel nothing. They want us to miss a place we've never been to, and I could really careless.

I can understand why the MCs are sad, but I just can't get on board with this one. However, they didn't do a bad job here and so I'm not saying this episode was pure crap either. The episode would have been better near the end of the series, not the beginning.

The foreshadowing for new battles on the horizon was good. We see that with a few exceptions, the Wulgaru are quite human looking, so they literally could be hiding out anywhere in the human world as spies and no one would ever notice.

Which brings me to why was Team Rabbits graduation pushed so they could be out on the battlefield? I sense conspiracy. And Cmdr. Simon is high on my suspicion list, especially now that we know the Wulgaru look human.

And lastly, Team Doberman, after that goodbye in the beginning, those guys are getting major death flags from me. I have a feeling they will die out there on the front lines. If not soon, sometime close to the climax.

I give this episode a 5/10. It was average.

I could've done without the montage music but an okay episode nonetheless. It's somewhat exciting how these 6 episodes have been setup as a prologue of sorts for what seems to be the good stuff looming.

Looking back it seems Team Rabbits have matured even if only a bit(and I mean just a little bit) as characters and teammates. As Rin-Rin said it seems kind of sudden to pull them out of the academy even if they need real battle experience to master the Juria System and team cohesion. Hopefully the show emulates what it did right in episode 5 and less of the first 4 for the rest of its run

Does Rin-Rin have a skirt similar to Kuro Usagi from Mondaiji or something...? Just a little higher dammit : P

Bad characters. So, more meka akushon, please.
Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.

Pretty nice relaxing episode!!!

Seems like the MP team are graduating at their Academy and it's nice to see everyone giving them their respects when they held the ceremony. The MP team do their final rounds of looking at the academy they had stayed recalling memories and resolving to move forward and do their best in the GDF Army. The background OST was very nice in this episode in my opinion and was very relaxing. Seems like Team Doberman are heading into the front lines again and I'm sure we will see them soon again.

Looking forward to how the plot progresses in the next episode!!

5/5

Felt the same way. That bgm when they were returning to the school was really relaxing to listen to. And the insert song did went on basically for the whole time we see the team reminiscing.

My only problem with this episode :/ It's still a nice episode though, and it did feel sentimental, but not enough to make me sad about them leaving just because it's not like we've actually seen them at the school that much anyways. And btw, what was the point of the part where we see Tamaki flying too low cased Rin's skirt to fly up a little? It was so random that I was just like, wtf? Oh but I did like the camera flares used in this episode, that was nice.

Looks like things are about to get interesting next episode. Finally get to see the antagonists.

I thought it was hilarious. It's like they expected us to FEEL when we really only saw them at the school for like one episode? Not to mention like Irenesharda said this is only the 6th episode in a series which hasn't even had much character development.

The music was itself was still pretty though. And yay we finally get to know the enemies next week

That would've worked for me if the show was over the top ridiculous like Valvrave, which is one of the campiest shows I've seen from the medium btw, but it wasn't so that's why I thought it was odd when they were having a reflection 6 episodes into the series when there's barely been any growth from the cast

A pretty average episode, I was waiting for some action but it wasn't really boring either. It's a shame I couldn't care less about their school life. Maybe it gets destroyed later on to provide motivation for the cast.

Great OP and ED, animation is something I can't really pin down, it's either weirdly crappy or just plain good, all in all, it sort of suits the series.

Episode 06 was a decent ep, it reminded that these teenagers had their memories wiped before they entered the school, sorta tragic and I find it weird that they're not trying to remember their pasts.

Suzukaze looked super cute when her skirt was blown during the demonstration, I liked her reaction to whole the thing, she was embarrassed and a little upset but she kept her cool by not going crazy on them. Her and Kei are favourite female characters of this series thus far.

The Wulgaru....the enemy

6 episodes, that's a quarter of the series done already, didn't feel like a whole lot happened though.

That insert song was Kokoro by Natsumi Kon! She sings the OP as well, Watashi wa souzou suru. She is only 22, so cute! Love both songs, both are on the OP CD.

Really enjoyed the episode overall even though the flyby was the only action. Good character development, emotional attachment so we care when they are in battle next time.

From now on I am gonna drop this anime. I do not know why for sure. What I know and felt all this time was that this anime kind of boring. The story line did not good enough, every episode felt like a filler, and the others. I was very optimistic about this anime in the beginning, but now I am pessimistic.

My vote is not too low, but not too high for the little charisma of the bad guys! XD A good bet to prepare the ground for future events, other than filler episode, the substance is there and you vede.Iniziando the plot that gives us a small summary about the past life of the characters and narrative manages to always be nice and in 'the occasion of the passing grade even a little cloying, the commander who knows how you will feel during the transition to low-altitude Tamaki! The matter, however, of those five I stink, yet not tell it right! Now after so many fights I want to talk endlessly.

FINALLY the filler episodes are over now the REAL action begins and the bad guy was shown...

I seriously wonder about this though: when Tamaki flew low and threw dust everywhere and broke the windows, wouldn't there be injured people? The teachers would've been angry because they have to spend money to repair the darn windows, but that funny moment when Suzukaze's skirt fluttering had a zoom in, and immediately afterwards everyone in the stands was like "OOHHH" and I was like "are they oohing about her skirt or about what the machines are doing"

To be honest, this episode really did improve my opinion of the series, although i still find it a bit two-dimensional. The same applies to the characters; I still find them two-dimensional, but them having their memories erased before enrolling makes a potent excuse. It also places empathis on the bonds they have since formed with each other.

Boring and slow does NOT mean it is thus a filler. If you want to call it boring or slow, it is fine. The thing is the episode is not a filler.
