I loved watching Amakasu this episode. That kid's got some skills. Nishida looks like he's struggling a bit so I hope he can pull it together soon. Meh, cliffhanger ending. I hope Chihaya can pull it together as well. |

| Good episode. Missed Sudo...he's awesome as usual. Too bad the ep ended where it did...Chihaya finally got into the mood of kicking ass, with Suoh style :) Really the ending of the episode was really good. |

| Man these karuta matches are so intense, forgot how much I can love sports shows like this and Kuroko's Basketball with the pressure going on between these rivalries. This match only heightened that because it's a rematch from last season |
| S-senpai is back! Chihaya never ceases to amaze me but it looks like the non-class A players are the ones who will make the difference in this final! Good work Sumire-chan for motivating those three by saying the exact words! Retro was a real man with how he set up the final. Hokuo is quite admirable even without S-senpai. They might have the advantage with having their senpai as the reader but that karuta class shown in the flashback showed how serious their school is about the sport. Next episode will be so fascinating! Chihaya in dual mode should be unstoppable! Mizusawa go! |

| Everytime i watch Chihayafuru I always ended up screaming my lungs off, clapping and cheering for Mizusawa team, I just can't help it. Chihaya bby I'm so proud of you ;-;. Holy fuck Sudo-senpai! I didn't know i missed him this much till he actually appeared again on this episode. He's an amazing reader! |

| wow that bow to the teacher almost made me shed a tear. it was so beautiful, so magical, so united. huge respect for the teacher and her students. i also loved how the teacher talks about the beauty of karuta. like many things in life, you only start appreciating the beauty of things after spending time learning and understanding the sport, the art, the style. and redfoxoofire, that gif, holy shit. every time i tried to type something serious, all i see is that gif; it's SHAKING MY RESOLVE SON. |

| Big ups to the empress for making Kana's boobies more defined and throwing off her matchup;) The best thing about this show is its unpredictable nature. Assuming Kana will win, they could go with Komano losing and Taichi and Chihaya being forced to win to pull it off, or go with Taichi or Chihaya losing quickly and Komano coming up with a big win. Since they haven't shown any of Komano's match yet it's hard to tell. Smart move on their part. Or they could of course lose, which I think is a good chance, cus why else would they add the rule that the two finalist teams would advance? I think Chihaya will lose the deciding match, but more importantly by the end of the match she'll have made significant progress in developing the strengths of Shinobu and Suo. |

| I'd recommend this episode for EVERYONE, just this episode alone to watch. First, Taichi's mother. Before, I could think about her as a "witch". Did not be easy live as her son, BUUUUUUUUUUT she did that for the good of her son, indubitably. Fathom this... wow. I need hug my parents. While I was thinking if this deserved some aplause, came the second wow of this episode. "A decent men never begin a phrase with 'but'". THIS IS A DAMN GOOD PHILOSOPHY! Oh, yeah... before I forgot. | Dammit, time goes by so fast when you're having fun with Chihayafuru. Felt a bit annoyed when Sudo became the reader, immediately felt other team might have an unfair advantage being used to his voice. |

| for some reason, i teared up at the very last scene.. with Chihaya seen with images of the Master and the Queen.. with the realization that she's using both of their strengths.. this little moment of Chihaya showing that level of her growth in her sport has gotten me so awestruck somehow.. argh.. this is why this show is so awesome.. also, Oe FTW.. |

| Man this episode felt like 2 minutes. Went way too fast, and I was concentrating on what was going on too much. xD It's great to see Sudo again but him being the reader while Hakuo is playing is very unfair and should be against the rules to have a reader that was from a team that's playing. Everyone depends on the reader too much. |

| THIS SHOW IS TOO FREAKING GOOD D; I love that Retro "messed up" the order so that they'd have to play fairly. Gains him more of my respect IMO. I mean of course you want to conserve energy but I can't say I really like Amakusa's thinking :P SUDO RETURNS AS THE READER?! ;O That was unexpected ... love how he whipped them back into shape without really doing anything haha XD Apparently he's quite good too ... good for Kana! :D She's really getting into the zone :3 Unfortunately it's not going too well for everyone else ... Nishida lost already! D: Man that was fast and yeah, the first win is really important. I thought we'd be getting more info on that other class A guy who's in first year, but guess not. Distracted by his hair pin (LOL WTF) and his sister dating Retro (ALSO WTF LOL) >_< Chihaya's not doing too well either ... focusing on accuracy like Shinobu, but I guess now she's going for something else! TBH I don't really remember Suo much, but I'm hoping that they'll explain more next episode ... Now 3 out of the remaining 4 members have to win if they want the trophy back ... come on guys! I know you can do it! D: I bet the Retro vs. Taichi match will be close ... they both want to win so badly :S |

| I always want the episodes to be an hour long. The 20-something minutes just fly by for me. I'm happy that Chihaya is growing as a karuta player. I'm loving this season. 5/5 for me. |
