| That was a smart plan on Chrollo's part. The Zoldycks are definitely famous enough that people wouldn't question it if it appeared that they killed everyone in the Phantom Troupe. They're selling knock-offs and getting all of the money from the auction, and noone even knows they're alive. Not to mention they essentially put an end to the mafia by hiring Illumi to kill the Dons. Revenge doesn't pay off in the end. While Kurapika may go back to hunting them when he discovers the truth, I think this could be foreshadowing of how he'll be when they really are all dead. The Kurta clan he knew isn't coming back. If it survives at all, it'll be through his descendants. I find it ironic that Hisoka was "helping". Yay for no more comparisons to the old anime~ |
| Yeah, the 1999 vs. 2011 debates in the early episodes was obnoxious as hell. Thankfully they kind of died down by the time these episodes rolled around. |

| Woooah, now I understand what the leader meant by ''Me, I believe in ghost''. They really became somekind of ghost. And that plan really is perfect, because it's the best way they could have found to humiliate Kurapika, since they knew he had a grudge against the Phantom Troupe. That way, he'll never be able to avenge his people. At least, that's what he thinks for now. But goddamnit, if he had answered Hisoka, he would have learned the truth. | The mafia is basically dead. With 10 of the Dons and 10 shadow beasts assassinated, the mafia can never fight enemies near as powerful as the spiders ever again... I want to see Kurapika's reaction if he knew that the Spiders are still alive. |

| Kurapika knows something is amiss but can't currently find a way to provide any proof the the "reality" he saw was fake. Quite an impressive episode, really looking forwards to see what happens next and what will happen with the fake products. |

| Illumi managed to kill every single one of the Ten Dons and saved his dad and granddad from the need to finish a job that may very well cost them their lives in the process. In a powerful display of 4D Chess, Chrollo had successfully convinced everyone who's left in the mafia to buy fakes for hundreds of millions of Jenny while they reap 100% of the profits and cash in on the value of the actual treasures that were supposedly up for sale all the while doing it in plain sight just moments after they've faked their deaths. That living copier machine is seriously useful! Kurapika discovering that the Zoldycks have "killed" everyone in the Phantom Troupe while he was too busy worrying about Neon was already ego-shattering enough but having to hand over the eyes of one of his clansmen to his client was definitely a big insult to injury. I don't know how he'd react if he found out that those eyes aren't real but I'm sure that he'll feel alive again if he ever discovers that they actually got away again. |

| Man what an interesting turn of events. I'm not sure how they made all those fake corpses tho. Was it the copy guy? He said he can't make copies of living things or something like that, but could he copy someone making a "doll" version? Big F in the chat for Kurapika. |
| This episode was marvelous, seeing how sad and empty Kurapika was when he learned that the phantom troupes were dead, as he handed the eyes of his brethren in a present box to some bratty rich girl, the irony in that spoke volumes about his character. |
| I really didn't except the twist in the beginning, though it was really strange for me if chrolle would be dead so "early". I thought for sure kurapkika would discover their plot but in the end he didn't, wonder how he will reveal the truth in the end. |
