| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- A sigh of relief to see Zoro charge at King Neptune, and good moments for Brooke and Usopp as well. Seems like Luffy is gonna take the princess put for some adventures, its times like this you have to wonder on how amazing Luffy's harem would be if it ever came to that. Oh and Decken and Hodi, team up, but I cant even take these guys seriously. But really, Mato-Mato power........ |
| Has Usopp ever been this badass as he was in this chapter? I think not. But I really didn't predict the palace to try and capture them to prevent the prophecy from coming true. I'm really loving the developments, and deckers power is just crazy. He can kill anyone, anywhere at any time O.O Just waiting on them to invade ryuugu palace now. | This chapter was fun! Luffy makes a huge friend, and decides to walk of with her? Well, he is a pretty good bodyguard. And as you mentioned, it was good to see Zoro charge of at King Neptune! As always, can't wait for next week! :D |
| My Prediction: Van dekken guy whatever takes the princess (kidnap) Luffy and his crew fights van dekken, destroying fishman island but actually saving it from danger. it gets rebuilt and wtv wtv wtv .... luffy gains gold again and next arc ongoing. mabbe luffy will destroy fishman island... but for the sake of saving it from those evil fishmen. ya. mabbe! and zoro was awesome ... cant wait to see their new moves! |

Hmmm, sounds like Dekken has a devil fruit power, but I thought Fishmen/Mermen couldn't use those? Well, things are starting to come together nicely anyway. And I'm glad to see Zoro pop up. I don't need anymore of the Strawhats disappearing for long periods of time, we've already had enough of that. |

| Fishmen with a DF? No-one saw that coming. Luffy being the same blunt idiot he always is, hilarious. And It was pretty good to see Nami, Usopp and Brook stand their own without the monster trio for a change. They've really improved :D |

| So a fishman with a fruit needs coating ? Heh, that's kinda lame, but glaring weaknesses are pretty rare for bad guys, so it might be interesting. Plus, that's a pretty cool fruit he got. Sounds kinda broken, but I guess he has to fulfill some kind of condition for it to work, like "touching the target with the hand or something" (probably why he wears a glove when he greets Hodi). All of this looks fairly interesting, that sounds almost like a Jojo / HxH kind of power. Well, still curious about the whereabouts of the other Strawhats. And Caribou, of course. Also, a new short story is starting ! It'll probably show old characters time-skipped reacting to the re-appearance of the Straw Hats. A bit redundant with the chapters pre-time skip, but might be cool nonetheless. (Also, was I the only one who first thought the princess hid Luffy in her boobs ? Guess I still got some trauma from the Amazon Lilly arc) |

| OKAY! I figured this out. Vander dekken looks like he was inspired me Michael Jackson. Just as Ivankov was inspired by Tim Curry from Rocky Horror Picture Show. And Michael Jackson used to be black but became white. And because fishmen cant use devil fruit, im guessing Vander Dekken used to be human and ate a devil fruit... poof. A human-fishman with other powers also. ? |

I could swear the original captain (his grandfather) was made out to be a human, so maybe he's just pretending to be fishman? Or maybe he just skinned a real one and wears its skin as clothing... |

| Man, I LOVE how reliable the Straw Hat's have become. They really became much stronger, even if they still act goofy as always they are still very reliable. The mermaid princess is extremely cute, a great catch by Luffy. I knew he was gonna say that they should go out for a walk once she started talking about being in the tower for 10 years.
