I hope you don't regret finishing the anime you don't want to finish because the whole point of watching anime for me is to enjoy it or appreciate it not regret it and be angry that I finished it.

I know I definitely don't have the right to dictate what you drop ad finish but if you deeply regret some of the stuff you finish I strongly recommend you just stop doing that.

Surprisingly I've had alot of friends feel this way.

hmm yeah probably he was not used to everyone expecting so much of him and all. i guess i was just hoping that the series would go an unexpected route when it comes to that. though it doesn't bother me anymore, he did go pro in the end and i still thought it was a fantastic last episode.

oh and by kyoani i meant the studio that produced free! (kyoto animation). they are known that their anime always end on a positive note. and since the first season of free! was like that, it wasn't really unexpected for season 2..

well it was all the pressure of people expecting him to go pro that gave him that nightmare and broke him during the race..
that's why i thought it would be better for him to do something else and swim as a hobby. not that i didn't expect him to go pro anyways, because it's kyoani we're talking about.
