| Maids everywhere. They weren't kidding about making this anime about maids cause all the main cast dresses like them from the very start and throughout the episode. For PA Works show though, I'm slightly underwhelmed by the animation quality. Oh and the music...I know this isn't an idol show but lol, that performance. |

| An original show from the collab with Cygames and P.A. Works, directed by Seishun Buta Yarou director Souichi Masui and written by a total newbie...and I have to say that this is WTF the Animation, with maids and guns a-shooting warzone. THEY LITERALLY MEAN IT. The unassuming new girl that is 17-year-old Nagomi Wahira coming into 1999's Akihabara and settling into the pigsty-themed Oinky Doink Cafe with another maid (35-year-old Ranko Mannen), her dream of becoming a maid starts here under the tutelage of the cafe manager and regular Yumechi. But, this cafe is more than meets the eye with shady characters running competitors' maid cafe, and the newbies head to Wuv-Wuv Moonbeam for an errand. And when they reach there, the both of them unexpectedly find themselves in the line of fire with Ranko being like a professional assassin killing maids left and right, even to the tune of the song's beat. The sudden realization on Nagomi's mind, and despite wanting to back out, there's just NO ABSOLUTE WAY she can now. The OP was moe-moe kyun, but the historical ED indeed has that moe-moe kyun feel. Honestly, the biggest surprise of the season yet. Already a potential dark horse of the season. |

| Hell yeah. This one's off to a raging start. I like the animation, especially appreciate the period setting with the appropriate cars and other elements. I knew something dark was coming , I think they set us up for it well so I wasn't as shocked as the new maid. Look forward to where this stylish one goes. Also, damn that music is on fire. |

| Like the psyllium-wielding wotagei we often see, she kills her enemies with a handgun. It defied expectations in a good way and made me laugh. The word "maid" in the title means "Netherworld" in KANJI. I was convinced after watching it. Good double-meaning. |

| Well i was in doubt to watch this it's PA works which is always great but then there is maids which usually is not. So i expected some maid stuff but what i didn't expect was mass murder, it started with that assassination at the start which already made me go like what the fuck but that that singing thing men that was fucked up. I did expect some dead i mean everyone would commit suicide after having such a embarrassing as having a maid go moe moe kyun at your table, but i expected customer deaths not maids. Anyway guess i will be checking out episode 2 since i wonder how this will go. |

| Utterly bizarre, funny but also totally wrong that a dozen nice girls got murdered. It's got to be one of the most craziest first episodes that I have seen because I thought it was going to be a generic moe comedy. I never read about any anime apart from the description on MAL. |

| The virgin lycoreco vs the chad Akiba maid sensou Nah REAL anime is finally back. That opening scene and the OP were amazing. I thought this was gonna be purely fanservice( which I would’ve been more than ok with) but we’ve got an insane story going on. Rankou’s massacre felt like anime Kill Bill. Nothing hotter than a mature woman in a maid outfit that can use a gun. The ED feels very tarantino esque as well, this is easily contender for sleeper hit of the season. Lowkey Manager got me about to act up |

| Ranko is so elegant 10 out of 10. The singing while the Gun Dancing I don't think I seen that before. There are action shows/movies that follow a song but not to that lvl often. |

The same studio has done a great adaptation of the first game before. |

| The animation felt really stiff, especially for a premiere episode from PA Works, but I feel like the first episode accomplished what it was supposed to. Leave me interested and drawn in to the bizareness of this world and series, from the first few minutes and the opening choice (and vocals), to the bloody and gruesome Ranko massacre sequence to the beats of Yumechi's singing. I just loved how unforgiving those killings in this episode felt and the turf wars elements present here, although much more context is needed down the line to flesh out what on earth was actually happening here. This episode's middle portion kind of felt boring and dragged out to me but the beginning few minutes and the massacre sequence made up for that weak portion for sure. Paripi Koumei had a good start and much better production and consistency with that show than this first episode alone, but that show was really clean and got stale quickly in the second half to be average/kind of disappointing by the end. The animation's less smooth here but the eccentric nature of the series and the sequence at the end tells me that this, if done right, can be a fun and insane show in the process. I hope PA Works doesn't let me down, even if they tend to do so majority of the time. I can't tell exactly what to feel in terms of anticipation for this series but it may be close to 'curiosity' more than 'excited' for what's to come, whether it will be great and entertaining, or not. It's better than having no personality, hook and just being so dull from start to finish at least. Nice to see a premiere actually try to have a hook and build some kind of anticipation for future episode. The Bibliophile Princess episode I saw today was the complete opposite, made me wanna fall asleep seconds into it. |
