| I doubt there will be much of it going forward, but I'm still glad they're showing some more of the fantasy isekai world instead of just inside of the restaurant. The food pron is great and all, but this also satisfies my keen interest in medieval/fantasy weaponry, like that awesome crossbow with built-in spanner. The goblin fight was also very dynamic, and felt like it had some weight to each hit. I really appreciate it when a fictional series takes the action seriously, showing it in a way that is physically plausible in that setting realistically, such as the retrieval of the crossbow bolt that you'd never throw away if it was still usable. Hollywood could learn a thing or two from anime...On second thought, I think they should stay clear, far far away from anime, given their past track record. I also like the new Hilda character. I bet she and Goblin Slayer would get along quite well. |

| really a relaxing anime. food show that sometimes has a bit of action, Hilda totally trashed those gobs - she should try joining Goblin Slayer's party. just kidding. :D Hilda is so surprised to see some important people casually eating and talking. food that is delicious and affordable helps people relax. I also notice the Lion King now shares his table with the former Admiral. Well, they both eat a lot. lol Sarah is lucky to have Aletta as her maid. looking forward to next week! :) |

| I was a bit worried for the art and animation but it seems all my worries were for nothing. The art is simply gorgeous. The animation is also pretty good for a slice of life anime. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality honestly. I thought such quality was lost as I've been watching action and fantasy anime with unsatisfactory art and animation for the past few seasons. |

| Studio swap, not as much change compared to expectations but I like the glossier art style. Aletta a bit younger and cuter. Not like I recall the first season perfectly but I think the angles are a bit tighter, i.e. less background and zoomed in characters. Maybe a bit less movement but the movement is smoother perhaps Content wise well it's more of the same. |

| I haven't seen the last one, but I thought it was a heartfelt story and easy to understand. It made me want to eat soufflé cheesecake. I like the phrase "Paku... Paku..." in the OP. |

| Fortunately or unfortunately I watched this episode right before eating lunch. I felt hungry before, now I feel doubly hungry. The 'unfortunate' bit is because the lunch I'm about to have is comparatively rather mundane. Nice start of the new season. The studio changed and the animation also changed. It looks like CGI-ish, kind of a mix between CGI and 2D animation. 'Soft CGI' perhaps? |

| As someone who adores soup. That corn potage sounded incredible. I had never heard of it before but I guess it's very Japanese. Despite the studio change for S2, it honestly still looks just as good, if not a little more updated. I really like this little comfort banger OP for the season. Not enough cat WOMEN. Hilda was very cute and her going to town on just cheesecake. I would've thought she'd go for an adventurer meal instead! Also nice that Sarah and Aletta get along so well. It's very heart warming. |
