| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First episode premiered today from Crunchyroll's Expo. Right off the bat, we a character named Hilda some fighting against goblins. By chance, she happened to find the otherworld restaurant. Seems there's not much has changed there including the food they serve. We got delicious souffle cheese cake and fried rice already. Simple food but they made that look tasty. Aletta and Sarah shares a very sweet relationship from this episode imo.  |

| Honestly, of the shows I was least expecting a sequel from. Overall, lovely start for this second season. First half with Hilda visiting the restaurant for the first time was very nice but the second half with Aletta making breakfast for Sarah was what I enjoyed the most. Really like the sweet relationship they have formed. As for other aspects, art and detailed character designs remain mostly the same despite the change in studio and though I barely remember the OST this show used to have, I can say the selection they used for this particular episode was quite pleasant to listen to. |

| IT'S INDEED THE DAY OF SATUR(DAY) ONCE AGAIN! It's nice to see Isekai Shokudou back after 4 years (and a series that was least expected to get a sequel), along with the same cast that made Season 1 all the more enjoyable. The only difference is with a different studio: OLM Team Yoshioka (the staff team responsible for Odd Taxi), kinda muted when compared against Silver Link's production, but it's good enough that I have no complaints. Bear in mind that you NEED to watch Season 1 before coming into this sequel. Master, Aletta, and Kuro all being the same warms my heart a lot the same from back then, along with the Western Restaurant Nekoya and its regular patrons from Season 1. The 1st half with demon girl Hilda that's a lot like Aletta trying out soufflé cheesecake and black tea, it's just as comforting like others. As usual, the staff meal that Master makes for both Aletta and Kuro is pure umami, from fried rice to corn potage. Aletta going to see Sarah Gold, who's still documenting her adventures to the Western Restaurant Nekoya and provided accommodation for Aletta as a housekeeper from Season 1, a nice comeback. And it's breakfast yet again with the usual relationship between the both of them. Boy I'm glad that Season 2 retains the charm of Season 1. Gonna have some Iyashikei time again. |

| It was a long wait but it was one worth while. I enjoyed seeing this again and the new cat girl was funny to watch tho she knew how to deal with goblins as well. Kuro needed a bit more screentime tho. |
| Been waiting for this for so long, ever since it got a second season. Now it's finally here, and it has been worth the wait. The food looks incredibly detailed like before. I know in some shows, food looks real good, but this one really takes the cake. Great stuff. While I'm not too keen on cheesecake, it did look amazing. |

| Oh Isekai Shokudou, how I missed this feeling of relaxation and hunger through anime. One of the very first seasonals I ever saw during my first season of anime technically, Summer 2017. It wasn't a special or remarkable show by any means but it was respectable and always gave me 20+ minutes of calmness through the marriage of food and the isekai world filled with fantasy creatures craving for some meals. It's unironically one of the better isekai shows I've seen so I'm happy to see this back after 4+ years. And it feels and looks pretty solid too. |
| I thought that i had learned my lesson in 2017 to not watch this anime with hunger....not a good idea hahaha. Good premiere as expected. |

The art seems a lot better than the 1st season, also just coming back to watch all the cooking and people enjoying the food, especially that part when Hilda is enjoying her cheesecake man I want to try them so badly, it makes me so hungry 😭 Also the op and ending is pretty good looking forward to the next episode!!! |

| I already know that when 2022 has arrived and scales are showing like 5kg more than usual, I can't give christmas dinner the blame for that. Instead we get 12 weeks of Isekai Shokudou S2 to make me crave food for more food on Saturday nights... Either way so glad to see this show back and it felt like they never left. Aletta is as adorable as ever and Kuro still using Telepathy. Vibe is the same despite the studio change. I swear though, Studio OLM taking on 3 shows this season. I am impressed. Can't wait to see more great deliciousness this season! |

| Man, it’s great to have this back! I remember this being a blast when the first season aired a while back and this episode was no less than that. Definitely want to try all those foods! |

| 4 years seems like a VERY long time ago now, but regardless, the one show I never expected to get a sequel has returned to us in 2021, with studio OLM taking over from Silver Link, and the first episode felt very comfy and nostalgic. =3 It's a good thing I was also eating lunch while watching this episode, too! The dishes shown in this episode was tempting and yummy, especially the cheesecake. I must have some right now... It's also another reminder of how much of a pure sweetheart Aletta is, from working hard in the restaurant, to going back home and making sure she looked after Sarah who was working hard on her job. While the first season's ED song still remains the best overall (ever better if you hear the full length version), the the OP/ED songs we got here were catchy and upbeat. Overall, this was a great start and I hope the rest of this second season stays like that, being all comfy and relaxing. ^_^ |

| Maybe it's just me, but the food was slightly more detailed in the last season than this one. Nonetheless, I loved it. Practically everything I loved last season is retained in here. Very colorful visuals, loved the lore, great looking food (cheesecake is my weakness. Glad I already ate), seeing many of the familiar faces in the OP and episode, enjoyed the new character Hilda and how familiar she was with the two legends sitting and having their usual friendly chat, and Aletta's and Sarah's interaction just made me smile. New OP and ED are also nice, though instead of liking the ED more than the OP like I did in the first season, it's the opposite here. This was what I needed, especially during these harsh times. Already am looking forward to the next episode. |
