Hi !
Nice to meet you too

Arcay May 12, 7:52 AM
Lol, I didn't notice xDDD You're almost as old as my dad, but I wish my dad was abit more open to new things xD
And about ryugasaki, of course, thank you^^
And btw. i believe, that age is just a number^^
Arcay May 11, 9:11 PM
Thee actually is a german version for monster musume, so thx, I would have never found out^^
I'll definitely take a look ass son as I've got some money xD
I just wish there was a second season.

Thanks, I already wanted to watch Setouin Yakuindomo for quite a while, so I guess, that I'll wtach it after finishing K-On^^
Unfortunately there's no german translation for the ryuugaki-san manga, but I'm brroke anyway xDDDDD
Btw. just wanted to mention that I'm not limited to german subs. If I can't find an anime on crunchyroll, wakanim, amazon prime or netflix,(which are our best legal sites in germany) then I usually go watch that anime on GoGo anime. I also watched Ishuzoku Reviewers ther as my first eng subbed anime, even tho they had it on wakanim, but only the censored version xDDDD

Thanks dude, you're one of the first people who have very similar taste to me, so I'm also ver happy^^
i haven't layed my hands on the manga yet because I still wait for them to release in german^^'

I really appreciate, that you rated Ishuzoku Reviewers and Monster Musume that high. Got some pretty good taste there^^

sorry for late reply. Covid is doing some nasty things in our community..

yeah, I saw him at least twice in the chats. Other people in the chat are jealous because Kuromu got invited to Maple's guild. xD

On other things. I notice you got Konosuba on favorites. Have you watched the movie? :)
Liddo-kun Mar 30, 2020 11:08 PM
did you notice that Kuromu was among those at the chatroom in one episode? :)

that tree boss guard level 3... goddess Maple sit on top of him, what more could he ask for? xD
Liddo-kun Mar 30, 2020 12:48 AM
in response to your quote on my post at Bofuri. :)

funny, we're the same on that. I also had to pause several times to read what they're saying at the chat. It also became a joke that our posts here on the forum and on youtube are an extension of that chat. :p

Thanks for the big list! I'll try to remember to let you know what I think of these when I get my hands on them. I usually use inter-library loan, which is great for being able to get just about everything, but can take a little while. I have read the Drizzt Do'Urden books, but not David Gemmell, so I'll have to take a look at him. I've been reading Brent Weeks lately and found him quite enjoyable.

I'll also give another plug for Brandon Sanderson. His work finishing the Wheel of Time was good, but in my opinion his best work is his own. If you're willing to give him a try, I'd advise starting with Mistborn: The Final Empire. It's a post-apocalyptic fantasy heist with a very unique and clever magic system, plus it isn't a full doorstop-size novel (~400 pages.) I may be a bit of a fanboy, as he is a local author that I've followed since his second novel was published, but I think you'd probably enjoy his work.

As far as manga goes, I've mostly read slice of life / drama manga, like Koe no Kotachi, Fruits Basket, and Amaama to Inazuma, all of which I've enjoyed. Overall, I've been a little slow jumping into manga since I'm a naturally fast reader, so the art actually slows me down. I've read more light novels than manga. The light novel series I've liked best are Oregairu, Grimgar, Log Horizon, Book Girl (almost finished,) Re Zero, and 86 (only read the first one.) In traditional western literature, I like fantasy, with my favorite author being Brandon Sanderson. I haven't found any good Western fantasy analogues in light novel or manga, since they seem side tracked by the RPG / isekai style fantasy settings. Thanks for being willing to make recommendations!

Probably won't be around for a short while as my wife had a stroke last tuesday and I'm busy dealing with the fallout from that and her recovery.
