Synopsis

In his last life, Liam lived as a moral, responsible person...but died deep in debt and betrayed by his wife. Reborn into the ruling family of a vast interstellar empire, Liam knows that life is divided between the downtrodden and the ones who do the stomping, so this time he's going to take what he wants and live for himself. But somehow, things refuse to work out that way. Despite doing his best to become a tyrant, Liam's decisions lead to nothing but peace and prosperity for the empire under his rule, and he just gets more and more popular!

A truly amazing light novel I've always enjoyed anime manga or novels where the goal is to develop the world like "Overlord" which I consider to be one of the best isekais ever. Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoushu! is like Overlord but with comedy and I like it a lot.

STORY: 7/10

It's an Isekai where the MC is reincarnated in another world of mechas fighting for space like Stars Wars man this series has what I like. The story develops quite organically with a good world system and how the system works with taxes and discrimination against robots.

ART: 8/10

This will come off as a bit awkward due to it being my first review but here goes:
I really enjoyed this series. From the first time it was announced on Seven Seas website and I read the synopsis, I had a good feeling about it and it is currently the only book series I eagerly anticipate and readily buy upon release, even without coin-boosts or sales. As someone still relatively new to anime, manga and light novels, this one really had me hooked.

Each volume is equivalent to an entire season of the anime, and honestly, I think the series peaked at Volume 2.

After Volume 2, the author just starts adding character after character with no good reason or plot relevance in some cases. They basically exist just to lick the MC’s boots, but they’re not even part of his harem — they’re just annoying for the sake of being annoying, instead of being the typical "peanut gallery" type.
