| I only started watching series that had just aired that same year beginning last year, 2019, with Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san and season one of the Fruits Basket 2019 reboot, but even then, I didn't start watching them until later in the year, around the autumn, after they had already finished airing first run. This year, I watched a number of 2020 series earlier in the year (Dorohedoro, Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei, Somali to Mori no Kamisama, Ishuzoku Reviewers, etc.) but in those cases, I still didn't watch them until either they had already concluded their initial run or at least several weeks into them. Therefore I believe this current season is actually the first season I watched newly airing shows from the very first episode (defining it as not necessarily on the exact same day they premiered, but in less than a week out before the airing of the next episode), beginning with Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi (which is fitting considering it's a sequel to Inuyasha, I'm a die-hard Inuyasha fan, and the original Inuyasha series is one of my first anime series and one of the few initial entry points into this medium for me). Now I'm also watching: - Higurashi Gou - Majo no Tabitabi - Yuukoku no Moriarty Yet I didn't start those three until around the airing of the third episode. |

| I first started watching seasonals (I've stopped since then) in Winter 2017, mainly because of the second seasons of Tales of Zestiria the X and Konosuba. However, the first new anime I watched seasonally was Hand Shakers, which is something that I find to be hilarious, considering the quality of that anime. |

| It's Digimon Xros wars from episode 1 then a few years later SAO but I only started "watching weekly" from episode 17 as the hype took a while to sink in, even then I was not watching it weekly. I always waited for 2-4 episodes to be released and later realized seasonals aren't my thing |

It doesn't look like there are a whole lot of original anime, but next season looks to be really, really good for sequels. If you can catch up on the remaining seasons of Attack on Titan before December, you'll be on track to start the final one when it airs. I would also recommend maybe watching a few other of those top shows, namely The Promised Neverland (if you're okay with Thriller/Mystery/Horror anime), That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (if you like Comedy isekai anime), Dr. Stone (if you like Adventure/Sci-Fi anime), Beastars (if you like Psychological/Drama anime), Cells at Work (if you like cute Comedy action), Log Horizon (if you like Action/Fantasy/Magic isekai), and The Seven Deadly Sins (if you like Action/Adventure/Fantasy anime) if you want to watch any of those other sequels when they air - though that last one might take longer than the others. |
