| I thought I would find this cute and enjoyable, but it quickly became apparent that this would not be the case. Part of the problem is the minimal animation (which is already extremely obvious and annoying) and the awkward way of subtitling when Nanako "speaks", but it's more that the fundamental premise is actually pretty irritating to watch play out; I know social anxiety is a thing and all, but how do you get through life to that point without saying a word, even at home? Why does everyone just accept it too, and allow her to speak through the senryuu thing? Even without mentioning how she writes her responses up at a moment's notice it's absurdly stupid and gets on my nerves, so I won't be going any further with this show. |

| I like the concept of a silent main character who talks through short poetry or 'senryuu'. The guy seems kinda bad but I bet that he is very nice and sweet. Since the episodes are short and light, I think I will stick with this one for now. :) |

| I'd say it was a wonderful first episode to a wonderful series. It honestly handled the first chapter of the manga quite well and the little chibi characters that only the anime has are adorable. It was awesome! |

| This was adorable and funny! will definitely keep up with this, yet another 12 mints anime... why are the ones I'm most interested in this season are damn half times. Unlike the male MC on the other one *Ao-chan can't study* the male MC here is a lot more fun, was a lil surprised the female MC doesn't talk.. reminded me of how Komi-san. Also.. more HanaKana! |

| It was pretty weak compared to the manga... The jokes which I smiled or chuckled (and sometimes lol'ed) became "What? Am I supposed to laugh?". And I didn't think they'd make HanaKana say the Senryuu verses out loud. It kinda ruined the atmosphere imo. Now Nanako looks like a weird girl who only talks in Senryuu instead of a quiet girl who doesn't talk. I know the lines are all in her head but still... Being only 12 minutes didn't help either. I double-checked the manga and yep, there were anime-original contents mixed in while leaving out some parts of manga. Manga has 80+ chapters currently and there're so much contents to adapt so... just why? |

| Very cute and fluffy. Should be a nice watch. I just hope I don't get tired of the gimmick. I didn't bother to check the run time so I was pretty surprised at 12 minute episodes. I realized it's 4 koma so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. |

| Nanako is cute. The series knows it and this is surprisingly very jarring. Trying to play its strengths by adding a pleasant filter here and a supercute Nanako smile there feels cheap when it is for the sake of disguising its incompetence in the other departments. When the jokes don't land and the characters don't quite appear good or at least intriguing, trying to save it with a last-second reminder that the show and the characters are indeed cute just does not work. This episode rubs me the wrong way because I feel it's trying to use moe to distract me from how bland everything appears to be and how weak the script is. Like it knows it is not good and instead of tackling and trying to solve its weakest aspects it abuses its gimmick to try to make me forget about them. But it's simply not good enough for that. |
| It's cute so far. I'm always a sucker for characters who look super scary but are actually kind-hearted and socially awkward. I haven't read the manga, but from what I'm reading the 4koma format does this series more justice, and I don't doubt it. I should give it a try. Of course it won't be a masterpiece or a personal fave, but for now, this will be a relaxing addition to my weekends, and it might get me back into writing senryuu, too...I developed a knack for haiku, senryuu and tanka a few years into the Japanese course I took from the local uni while I was in high school. 😁 |

| A very nice start. Disappointed by the translation not keeping to the 5-7-5, though. When the whole point of the series is that she's speaking only in senryuu, this should be the most basic requirement for the translation as well. |

| Wasn't expecting a short to be honest but it is a decent length for what the show has to offer. It was cute... I love the cute girl falls for bad boy (who isn't really a bad boy) trope. Truly one of my favorites! I think this one has a lot to deliver on that part. Loved to hear Hanazawa Kana again after a long time without watching anime. |

I haven't read the manga for Senryuu Shoujo, but it seems fine so far, but for Komi-san, I can't picture the character dynamic being adapted well animated. | It's cute and sweet but looks like it needs a lot of typesetting. Crunchyroll subs are horrible, plus there's no typesetting so it's not a very comfortable experience. This is a show that needs to be picked up by a good fansub group like Good Job! Media. |
