Hello. My stepdad let me watch Spirited Away and Naruto when I was younger, and that was clearly a mistake because look where I am now.

In all seriousness, I really enjoy anime as a medium for storytelling, and have stopped caring about being "cringe". I used to be extremely harsh with my scores and a huge elitist. I've generally stopped scoring shows because I find it difficult and pointless to do so. And I recognize that not every story has to be a Grave of the Fireflies, a Madoka Magica, a Hibike Euphonium, a Perfect Blue, or a Princess Mononoke to have worth as a story. Not every story is going to be an earth-shattering, groundbreaking masterpiece. And that's okay. As long as there was love put into it and it succeeded in entertaining others, it was worth creating.

I much prefer female-centric media. I like music and idol franchises such as Revue Starlight, Love Live, The iDOLM@STER, D4DJ, Bang Dream, Project Sekai, and so on. I don't bother with the friends system here and don't really check my messages. Send me a message on Instagram if you want to chat. :)
