| Dammit OP you were supposed to wait for like 3 more weeks so that we could make a better assessment for the Fall season. Someone should create another thread after Christmas. There were lots of really good shows this year although none that was so amazing that it would be the obvious choice. I really liked The Ancient Magus' Bride which had it's 2nd cour in 2018 so I might choose that as the best. BnHa s3 was also really good. Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken and Bunny girl senpai are very strong contenders so I'd need to wait till the end of December to decide which was the best of 2018. | Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan for me! This was the show I've been looking forward to the most each month and it makes me feel great. If I wasn't such a big Fate fan Devilman:Crybaby would be my AotY. Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru as well. I also think Golden Kamuy, Attack on Titan season 3, LOGH Die Neue These and After the Rain were great as well. |

| SAO Alicization has nice animation, but I still find the story trash imsorry. Hataraku Saibou got a little bland for me in the middle but the start and ending was good. Megalo Box was really good, I also really loved AoT S3 and Boku no Hero Academia S3! The hype is really with these two series. Asobi Asobase, Happy Sugar Life, and of course Banana Fish. Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru & Hanebado! is really REALLY good too huhu. Hinomaruzumo is also really nice ;o; Tsurune seems a little underrated but nevertheless it's a nice calming sports anime. Being a former art student, Irozuku captures me so much. Tokyo Ghoul re: 2 and Anime Yell! was a downer for me :c |

| The best shows this year (in my opinion) were High Score Girl and Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru! There weren't a whole lot of shows aside from those that I actually liked. |

| I haven't watched much this year, so can't really say, but if Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai deserves a second place, then it looks like it was once again a mediocre-to-bad year. |
