| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, I'm starting to think the purpose of that competition was to build character for the team. As the losers, Minato and his team also had to run errands. The length they went to retrive that hat though....that's dedication. I think this episode may also have the most fan service of the season so far. Felt like the episode was more relaxing than the previous after that competition. |

| Beginning of the trip. Guys have to wake up early to do errands. Not sure if they would be given time to practice... The teacher only told the real purpose of giving the job to the guys to girls. To learn from watching and thinking... Two teams suggested to do errands. Pork vs. beef and if Pork they also argue against how it cooked lol~ Main guy and the guy who always in bad mood are wet because they went to chase the cap that bad mood guy gave to the guy who has fans. They got the chance to use the bathroom first. It seems like the two got closer. Old teacher is good at persuading young teacher. Young teacher finally approved them to practice the next day. Old teacher has recovered and came to assign the position, as well as giving them the team jacket. |

| The guys bond over being servants, fighting over meat and a little adventure with a hat and a river. xD Training camp's over now and the Masa-san and the adviser picked the firing order. I think I understand why they decided to put Onogi first, looks like he's the most reliable shot on the team so having a strong start should help a lot with the mental strength of the other members. |

| The insight into the maintenance that's needed for the equipment and areas that are needed for Kyudo sure was insightful. The expansion on Onogi's character through Nanao's words was pretty creative. The blown off hat though sure did well in allowing Onogi to develop some respect towards Minato. Masaki's plan sure ended up working like a charm. It was nice seeing the boys start to forge bonds with each other though. Seems its not just the boys that are changing but also Masaki as well. Looks like in the end the training camp was a success. Can't wait to see how they do in the tournament. |

| So Misato's the Oonchi huh? I was expecting it ngl but nice to see that they didn't waste time setting up the order. Kaito calling Misato a masochist was pretty funny, also nice to see the boys becoming for friendly with each other. They're really prolonging Seiya and Misato's relationship though to focus on Kaito and Misato, really wish there was more of a balance. Beautiful episode once again, waiting for episodes for this series is such a pain. Oh and Tsurune is getting an English dub I think the cast will be revealed on the 21st of November I think |

| That was a nice episode. Onogi still doesn't like Minato, but it seems he is warming up to him a bit though. Nice new jackets anyways. I guess days of servitude are over. Can't wait for the preliminaries. Good episode. |

| It's nice to see that they are getting along, at least to some extent. But I can't wait to see how they will perform as a team in their upcoming tournament, I hope they do it well. <3 |

| Well, this was my least favorite episode so far, to be honest. Almost the whole ep. made me feel bored. And although I know that the whole "sevant" stuff was to bring the boys together, especially Minato and Onogi... I couldn't help but feel that way. Well, at least the last minutes were more interesting with the barbecue scene and the formation for the next competition. Related to that, I was expecting Onogi to be the first in the line-up. He may be annoying and stuff but regarding sports, I think he's the most reliable of them all. That said, I'm really looking forward to the competitions. |
| What a refreshing slice of life episode with amazing animation and dynamics between the guys. I am glad that the characters finally ceased to be types and began to show signs of the individuality. Even girls got a little more time than in the last episode. Well, I was a little disappointed with the first episodes, but it looks like the show really starts to like me after 4-5 episodes. |

| This was really nice. I wasn't expecting them to have to slave away as servants for basically the entire time, but it seems it was all according to keikaku. Going as far back as the instructors joining the girls team to ensure the boys would lose anyway. It was clearly to strengthen the bonds between the boys so they would perform better in the team competition. I guess the idea is you need to have a decent relationship with your team to be able to do well in the team event. Despite it not seeming like there is really much 'teamwork' involved in the event, but I'll put that up to my complete lack of experience/knowledge with kyudo. |
| Nanao can really make me cringe at times, like when he was acting like an anime butler. I think he's likable, but those cringe inducing parts of him need to be decreased. It seems Hakama and jackets don't go together. lol. It was cute, though. Can't believe they sneaked a bath scene in. Well, it wasn't filled with fan service unlike 'Free!' where they can make me quite uncomfortable. The older brother of the coach is creepy. |
| This was really a good episode, we got some real good interaction between the 5 leads, which was much needed. Also I love how calming this show is. |

| Relaxing episode with the purpose of the Kazemai Kyudo boys or 'servants' bonding with each other to build more chemistry. With team sports, chemistry is really important and the way this show tackled developing it was decent. |
| A whole episode went by and nothing happened in terms of plot progression besides some team bonding. You don’t need to spend an entire episode on that. Trash pacing. Masa-san’s plan would have failed if not for the hat flying into the river too The girls are so one dimensional and irrelevant, I don’t see the purpose of them being in the story. They’re just their to add some diversity to the club, remove them and the story would still be the same |
| The training camp was so nice! I liked how Ryouhei has so much energy that he didn't have any trouble at all waking up early. Kacchan is still annoying, but he is finally opening up to Minato, just like Nanao, after he did what he did to get back that special hat, it's only natural. I liked how Masa-san's brother was able to tell that their relationship changed through his photos too, it was a nice touch; and Masa-san changed too, thanks to Minato no doubt. Their scene with Fuu was as pleasant as ever. I can also kind of guess the meaning of a few of their positions, I might be wrong, but I think that Kacchan goes first because he is strong-willed, Ryouhei goes second because they told him there is 'no pressure' in this position or something, so he can do his best without worrying as he is the one with less experience. Seiya, and Nanao, I don't know, two veterans to keep it going I guess lol, and for Minato it might be for him to see the backs of his comrades, and realize that he isn't alone, although the last position may decide the competition, and of course he is going to feel the pressure, but well. Really good episode! |

I felt the same. 😅 Though I've seen most other people praise this for being no-nonsense and strong. Maybe it's some sort of cultural difference. To me, that was an unncessary reaction towards nothing. Kind of like a girl who responds "I already have a boyfriend!" to a random guy's innocent question like "What time is it?". |

| Guess I'll be the only outlier here and say I thought this was a pretty weak episode. I get the whole need for a team building exercise episode...happens all the time.... but this was one of the worst presented episodes I've seen...feels like it was rushed? Basically they go to the store, dude falls in river...seemingly unplanned by coach, they bond in bath tub, and profit...I feel like more effort could have been put into that writing wise. It may be a chill show, but maybe to me it's just.....too basic. |

| Honestly, I don't understand some girls in anime, when a guy pays you a compliment on what your wearing all of a sudden he's some perv? or he's sexually harassing you? What ever happened to just responding with a simple "Thank you" ?? I AM CONFUSION. |
| It took a while, but the boys have finally bonded. I'm glad they toned down the sudden drama these past few episodes. The character relations are improving visibly and I really liked how Masa-san handled the weekend. This episode is definitely my favorite till now. It had typical KyoAni slice of life vibes, but this time we got Cute Boys Doing Cute Things instead of girls. |

| This has got to be one of my favourite training camp episodes. I loved it!!!!!!! I really love the direction. The art & cinematography are stunning, the music is beautiful & I love how the character development is weaved in to an otherwise simple SOL Why are people freaking out over the sexhar comment. It was definitely weird that the coach’s brother, who was an ADULT there as a photographer during a SCHOOL club trip, was making comments about how HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS looked good in their attire. Perhaps her response was a little curt but it definitely wasn’t an innocent compliment & she put him back in his place. |
