| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another really fun episode. I love the switcheroo compared to the original anime with Satou looking like he's gonna be a pitcher instead of Daigo, who looks like he's gonna be a catcher. Love the dynamics between the two. Also god I love Kaoru <3 |

| I didnt expect Tsubasa to have a rival for most OP character in sports anime of this season, but Satou Jr. is definitely a solid contender, he basically only did mistakes so far because he had no idea about how to play baseball. Daigo will try to play catcher, interesting reverse on the roles from the original... and also poor outfielders, looks like their positions are definitely boring and not worthy of being protagonists. |

| Another fun episode, and we got an even greater taste of the Daigo-Hikaru dynamic and a little preview of some of the rivalries that will form. I actually like the setup here so far and this is the first baseball anime that I've watched where the main protagonist isn't OP or has some hidden skill. Although I guess Daigo's hidden skill could be his "love for baseball". We see the path on which Daigo becomes the catcher for Hikaru. While this episode had some decent moments, I'm really looking forward to the next one where Daigo undergoes special training under Kaoru-sensei. I hope we get a nice and long anime series out of this as I'm really enjoying it thus far. |

| It would be funny if Daigo quits baseball and starts out as a console game developer. Would be interesting anime :D Goro had all the interest in baseball but for Daigo it's probably 75% games and 25% baseball. Maybe Daigo could make a game about baseball, so the meaning of Major won't be left behind.. Spitting nonsense aside. Some people aren't satisfied with Daigo going for catcher but in my opinion it would be an interesting change of pace in story. I still don't get however, isn't weak arm something that can be trained? Or is it something that really can't be fixed? |

The ED always makes me tear up ;_; Same here! Can't skip the ED since it's very nostalgic. And I am really liking the development so far especially with this switch role compared to their fathers. Btw, Daigo can really be a brat sometimes but I really find his attitude cute. Anyway, no annoying character so far so this is really good. |

| Good episode Daigo's goal changes to catcher. We'll see how this works out, I'm still worried about his weak arm. He's going to have to have to make up for it somehow. Satou just changing his grip fixes his control. His potential is ridiculous. I'm looking forward to seeing them go up against the other battery on the Dolphins. |

| Satou in ever episode i liked more his personality daring and arrogant! Daigo needs to learn a bit of his new friend!!! Well, finally the kids know their roles, Satou will be pitcher and Daigo will be Catcher, although Daigo is very surprised, how I told in before chapters, the boy has vision, field vision and game vision and for a catcher, it´s very important!!! |

| The catcher is an extremely important role, even if it isn’t quite as glamorous as the pitcher role. Daigo is perfectly suited for it too imo. Looking forward to the second-gen battery. |
| I really hope they go through with the catcher route. So far, I haven't seen an anime that had the protagonist as a catcher. This is from watching Diamond no Ace, Big Windup, Major, and One Outs. It would really be interesting to see a diferent direction for this anime since we've already seen Goro do it all as a pitcher. |

| it would be really interesting once diigo would become the catcher, i don't know how he didn't see it in himself. i hate bullies, no matter what... and it seems for me that hikaru have some dad issues from some reason, the fact that his father played catch with him only when they were little and that toshi walked away from the game last episode. probably some family complex major style xD the anime really getting me, i hope it will stay that way that hikaru would stay in the main character position. |
| Ngl I found it funny how the glove didn't fell that far when Daigo threw it considering he has a weak arm, still glad he kept it. Liking the synergy between Daigo and Hikaru so far |
