| First I pause. Then I reread what the person has posted (if I'm talking with the person I tell them to repeat themselves). Then I scream as loudly and autistically as I can while acting as though I have a fit on the floor. Usually that stops the person from ever insulting my taste in anime again (if we're speaking face to face). It rarely works online though for some reason. |

| My taste is pretty much that scene in Toradora where I seek those types of moments in anime and by extent the romantic and emotional closure I feel in said scenes above all else. The culmination of their feelings and fulfillment of their love makes me feel like I'm a part of their adventures as if I was literally in there with them. Anyone who can say that enjoying those moments is bad does not have an opinion worth valuing, as pretentious as that sounds. |

 You can never insult those users who fapped to me, clearly a very superior fappable imouto. On the side note, there are three things I know of that stands true. You're either memeing right now. Two, you're either triggered right now, or three, the combination of two. You see, every "insult" can be a form of "argument" in which you dismissed just because, either the user clearly hates the series and you cannot accept the fact that the series you dearly love just have that major flaw that everyone will bash for. I might meme SAO for being what it is, but I dearly love SAO for what it offered to me as a gateway to anime, mainly isekai. Yes I know it had a very bad pacing, yes I know Kirito-sama's power of convenient plot armour is just so bad it hurts. Yes, I know that due to the pacing, the romance might seem a little force or just thrown out of the context. Yes, I know the sex scene isn't that best considering it's censored. Yes, I know it's JP, so it has to be censored. Yes I know the movie showed the uncensored oppai (FFS JP! YOU DID IT RIGHT!). But, wholly, I enjoyed the series for its flaws that ultimately made me think of the instances 'what if...' Yes I know you love Emilia. Yes I know sexualization of female is done right in ecchi. | A couple such friends insulted my interest in anime as childish and immature. I looked at them with disgust filled eyes, got them by their neck and made them watch Death Note, Hellsing and FMA:B. They couldn't stop gushing positivity about anime from then on, and after overcoming my false sense of superiority on changing their views on anime, I went right back to doing what I was doing. Stop giving a shit about what your friend says about what you enjoy, if it ain't illegal and it doesn't bother anyone else, you don't need anyone's permission or approval to do them. |
