We finally get a look at zeros real power and I gotta say I'm impressed! 13 seems like a classic power grabbing bad guy but since he has the next episode dedicated to him maybe he's a more complicated character than this first interaction has shown. It was so sad seeing Albus grieving over all his fellow sorcerers deaths and saying good bye to the dog. I hope we get more action next episode! |

| finally the story is picking up. Good episode. That fight at the end is great. That is how mage battles should be. though I don't like the beam struggle, better if it was like the first few moves. Spells to counter spells until one wins. |

| Now we finally have a plot! :DD And some backstory :D At first I was actually confused about the relationship of Thirteen and Zero... I mean like, are they comrades or what? Albus on the other hand... I kind of got the feeling that Albus is Solena's granddaughter... But I looked back at episode 2 and she said that the granddaughter is really talented, beautiful, tall, and has big boobs. I don't think Albus is the kind who will talk highly of herself you know... So I'm also thinking... maybe, no. Now, this is what I'm talking about! :D Hype me more!! :D |

| Not a particularly good episode imo. The pacing was all over the place and the drama felt rather cheesy. I face-palmed when that old guy died, especially at his speech before that. As for the fight at the end... I was wondering when I switched to Dragon Ball Z. The only things I liked in this episode were the mercenary's backstory and that dog. I'd have raged if the dog died XD |

| So much death this episode .-. Interesting to see some mages actually work for the state. The clash of magic was pretty nicely done, was expecting Zero to destroy Thirteen tho. Looks like he'll be fine judging from the next ep preview heh. |

| It is interesting to see how magic can destroy your opponent in so many ways. The guy called thirteen looks very strong. Narrative rhythm is slow, but arguments seem very inviting. |

| Enjoyed this episode and looking forward to where they're going with this. I love that in the show the three groups humans, beastfallen and witches have members depicted as good, bad and misunderstood. The factions aren't black and white. |

| Dang! Great episode starting with some political scrambling with the rogue witches vs the Sorcerers of Zero vs the State/church. Then that moment in the church when they said Thirteen ... that really gave me shivers! Zero and Thirteen know each other (I remember vaguely the prologue was something like that) and they seem to be quite evenly matched too. Seems like they all have a conversation next episode so I guess the resolution must be relatively peaceful :P |
