| Good episode. Nice fantasy setting. Interesting with the witch hunts. Reminded me a bit of Hitsugi no Chaika. There was some witch-like girl as well - and some mercs protecting her. And it was that traveling/adventuring-type of anime. I guess this will be similar. But the chars seemed a lot better. I liked the beast-guys and Zeros personality. Was fun to see them interacting. With this + some action in the future episodes the show should be fun to watch. (Better than Re:Zero. And that other fantasy this season ... that "Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?" seems a lot less interesting going by description on MAL here.) |

| Well i liked it a lot. The beastmen seems to be interesting since he suffered from his condition, thought I must say for a guy who feared witches and their powers he was quick to put his faith into one. Well, I'll keep watching anyway, seems like a good show. |

| I like the setting of the story and characters (soundtrack is nice too). looks like i'm not the only one who noticed pacing issues on the story, Things just pops out of nowhere and changes between scenes are so sudden imo come on white fox, Once again, i have hopes for you again, don't dissapoint ;) |

| Such a good art and animation wasted on series like this. I'm disappointed. Characters are not bad, but setting seems to be boring and generic as f***. Not dropped yet tho, Zero stops me from doing it for now. . |

| Must say this is good. I love. The heroine is refreshing, too. Love how she's not a violent Goddamn tsundere but got personality. Sorta like a better Rory from Gate. The visuals could be better but I am not gonna complain. The staff seems to be working fairly hard. |

| Very nice 1st episode! The last time that I watched an anime starring a half-beast lookinbg protagonist was.....hum....eh looks that never hehe. I remember Inuyasha but he looks just a human with pointy nails, long silver hair and doge hears. Also Komamura from Bleach but he is just a secondary character. Like the ending :3 |

| This is every bit as good as I thought it would be. I am already loving Zero, badass main character. Good character development between her and mercenary. Looks like it's going to be a long rough ride for them being hunted down each episode. by pretty much everyone. |

| Wow, I loved this. I thought they would pull some kind of furry-loli nonsense, but this was surprisingly decent and I'm glad to see it took itself seriously. Really felt like some high fantasy here. I like that it's not just a guy accompanying a helpless girl, and that they're both badass. |

| Somewhat of a slow paced start, but I guess that's the beauty of these LN adaptations. Love these slow build ups. Already we've got our two MCs, one a furry and the other a witch. Merc sure has it bad though, being hunted by both humans and witches alike. Makes his situation so bad that I cannot empathise with witches being hunted (since they're doing the same thing). Zero is cute and all, but the premise is a bit sketchy right now. I mean, how the heck did her Grimoire get stolen from a witches sanctuary in the first place, to be used to teach the masses sorcery, I'll never understand. Given all the persecution, shouldn't witches be banding together to protect each other? Why steal another witches stuff? In any case, this show is giving me a bit of Spice and Wolf vibe, more talk than actual action. Looking forward to seeing what happens next. |

| Not a bad start. Feels like this season's Hitsugi no Chaika in terms of overall vibe and straightforwardness of the story. The direction and transition to and from scenes could use some work though. The first felt like patchwork in some cases and hopefully there won't be so much exposition in future weeks. |

| Good start, definitely a surprise since I really expected it to end up as a dissapointing show. I love the magic and fantasy areas of entertainment too, so this is kind of right in my area. Definitely perked an interest to watch more too. |
