| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, that was intense for the finale. There's a very sinister feeling in the air as Shimazu and the others makes their attack. Shimazu's battle was fun to watch as he showed off more of his badass fighting skills and ideals. While this episode did focus a bit more on Shimazu compared to others, there's also some segments with others that I thought were amusing. Comedy wise, we still got Oda's jokes. Good show overall. 7/10. Also second season announced! |

| Soooo...season 2 confirmed? Hope so, cause that ending felt like more of a beginning than anything else. Pretty fun show, full of blood, violence, action and quirky characters. With even a bit of strategy, humor, and Olminu boobs! XD Not much else to say about it though, let's continue the story! 7/10 |
| Aside from the sloppy humor that's inserted at the worst times, it's a pretty fun anime. 7/10 from me. looking forward to the second season |

| Awesome episode. Yoichi standing on those elves and Oda saying "Toyo is only 'just' our leader "was hilarious. XD Toyohisa vs Hijikata was just pure awesome man, I love how Toyo intimidated him and stalled for time. It's really nice to see how much faith he had that Oda would turn the situation around. That bait, smoke and fire by Oda to the enemy troops was so epic. Truly Fire in the Hole. XD Holy Shit, The way Toyo stood unfazed with that fire coming from behind was just pure badassery. The brawl after that was pretty cool too. Looks like Mitsuhide joined the Ends. Overall, I loved this show. Just pure bloody awesome entertainment from start to finish. The fights, The badassery of every character, The strategy and the smirks were all just way too entertaining. I had this huge grin on my face whenever the characters grinned cause I knew something epic is about to happen. The historical references and the overarching plot were pretty nice as well. I know a lot of people call this show out on the tonal shifts from seriousness to comedy but honestly for me, I didn't mind it at all and sometimes I found the comedy really funny. 9/10 , Waiting for second season. |

| Pretty good finale. I enjoyed the Toyohisa vs Hijikata fight. I like how he antagonizes his opponents. Definitely watching S2.  |

| Hijikata's smile in the end! He might hate Toyo for being a Shimazu but he's definitely glad to have him as an opponent. Really looking forward to their next fight. Drifters were great. An immensely enjoyable and fun show. Kudos to whoever directed the opening. Really love it when the imagery fits the sound. |

| So Drifters ended.AotS,sorry Natsume Yuujinchou Go. Also this episode confirmed that new comer from episode 10 was Akechi Mitsuhide. Then again he is the most famous member of Akechi Clan. |
| Looks like Toyohisa found someone that was on par with him, looking forward for season 2 hopefully next year, can't wait for Toyohisa vs Hijikata round 2. Action was great, the humor was okay-ish to me it's still a good adapation. 8/10 |

| Is that it? Man, it feels like this show accomplished nothing other than impressive but dumb combat and some of the worst comedy I have ever had the misfortune of seeing in an anime. This has been pretty disappointing, so I definitely won't be watching the second season, that's for sure. 7/10 |

| The duel with Toyohisa and Hijikata was epic. He was doing anything to win. As for the show overall, I loved it. The comedy and tone shifts didn't bother me. I found them funny. The action was very cool. I'm really looking forward for season two. 8/10 |

| This is legitimately one of the worst anime I've completed and I can't believe it has the same author as my beloved Hellsing Ultimate. Not only is the action very sparse considering that's its supposed genre, even when it's there it's just... boring. The characters are actively annoying, the humor is retarded, the plot is very thin and dull, even the visual style is mediocre. This is a rare case where there's absolutely nothing positive I can take away from a show. |
... They casted Sho Hayami as Mitsuhide. Ahah. Ahahahaha. Bwahahahahahahahaha I haven't laughed so much at Sengoku officer casting since I played Sakura Taisen V, where I heard Samurai Warriors Nobunaga reprising his role. Overall, it was a good show. And now we wait till Hirano starts writing properly, so one day we could have a season 2. |

| That was a pretty good fight to end the season with, and I like how they introduced Mitsuhide on the Ends' side. I hope he and Nobunaga come face to face soon. Unfortunately, despite this show being pretty entertaining, I can't let the cringey comedy slide, that really brought the show down in my eyes. However, I'll still check out the second season for more mindless action and gore, and to see where the story goes. 6/10. Also, why are some people under the assumption that S2 is coming out in 2020? Sure, it could be the case because I've heard there supposedly isn't enough source material right now for a second season, but the "XX" part is simply a placeholder since they don't know what those last 2 digits will be yet...... |

| Season 2 announced was awesome Drifters was amazing, I wish we would get more release's here, I need the manga on my manga self. From the music to the action this anime made the wait for Friday the longest for me. And I really enjoyed how they didn't play the Intro Song on every Episode so when it did come on, I fucking loved it even more then I did at the start. | The battle against Hijikata was really good. Loved Toyohisa's trollfaces and how they ended forming a rivalry (more or less). And the Drifters won at the end, not a complete victory, but still something. Taking in mind this was made by the author of Hellsing, the series was pretty much what I expected: awkward but funny at times comedy (and since it has hystorical jokes, some of them were really hilarious for me), high-pressure blood spilling in all places with crazy/awesome situations and characters present through the whole story, so I'm happy with the result. It has been a funny ride overall. 7/10. Also, good time they announced a second season (since the ending didn't concluded anything), but they announced it in 20XX... I hope that means we will have the second season for 2020. |

| Toyohisa Vs Hijikata was excellent. Although the two wwere pretty even, Toyohisa got under Hujikata's skin with his taunts, strategy and mind games. Because of that, Hijikata's army became disorganised and eventually fell apart thanks to Toyo, Nobunaga and Yoichi. Overall, while the show that it's moments of hit or miss comedy, it more than made up with some thrilling battles, great soundtrack, impressive visuals and animation. 8/10 and I will be watching the second season when it eventually comes in a few years time. =) |

| second season yes! I will be really really surprised, in a good way, if they can deliver it the next spring. I'm asking for too much here. Personally I prefer summer because I'll be busy in spring with final exams and graduation. |

| Typical that it ends right as the real fun gets started! Luckily there was a second season teased right at the end there, we just don't have a date confirmed yet. As a finale it was pretty underwhelming, but knowing there will be more eventually doesn't make the ending feel so paramount. We definitely need to get some concentration on that huge cast next season bc so many awesome characters were introduced, only to be completely neglected after their introductions...and then there are more characters introduced! So frustrating!! I'm glad Hijikata didn't die bc I already like the guy- just wished he would've been around more. That ability of his is cool too- kinda reminds me of Rider's noble phantasm in Fate/Zero. You could tell he was pretty happy that Toyohisa referred to him as a "Samurai" since that's a status he spent his life trying to achieve ;_; Lol at Toyohisa jumping through a window into some poor family's home, stealing their soup and then throwing it in Hijikata's face. Now that's a guy who knows how to use his surroundings. Also cannot believe Naoshi is still in that damn forest. It's a sin that he wasn't a major character. AND DAMN MITSUHIDE!!! |

| I found this show to be so boring. I didn't like the characters, plot, action, or the terrible comedy. The only good thing was the art but I couldn't care less about art, all I want is an entertaining show and this failed at that hard. I will not be watching the second season at all. 4/10 |
