Anyone who is not used to cooking who has cooked for a small child should recognize that face XD (Pretty sure my daughter reacted similarly the first time I tried to copy her mom's lasagna recipe..) :x Enjoyed the episode a surprising amount. Looking forward to the rest now. ^^ Hoping that there's actually zero romance involved tbh tho.. Six months is a very short amount of time for a man to get over the loss of his wife. |

| This anime/show/series is such a treasure to keep! I really thought the VA for Tsumugi was Naru from Barakamon but it turns-out that it was the VA of the friend of Naru which is Hina! 5/5. |

| This hits a little closer to home since I was raised only by my dad too. I don't know if her mom died from an illness or accident but it's touching to see her father do his very best to raise his daughter. That aside, the voice actor for Tsumugi is a real kid and the way she says otousan is kind of weird. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be in the manga? Then again, how are we supposed to know how things should sound in print. I'm sure the girl has a crush on the dad, it's so obvious because she was blushing when he came in. I kind of wished she saw him more as a father figure but it might end up with her marrying him. She's not significantly younger than him but I'm getting a Usagi Drops manga-ending vibe here. Ugh, gross. Still, overall, it's a good slice-of-life series and I'll keep watching. I hope it doesn't have an Usagi Drops manga ending. |

| I came here for food and there's not enough food, so I'm out. :U Would have probably picked this up if Kotori stayed in glasses and braids most of the time, but nope; she's just going to stay generic-looking. Just gonna pretend I never watched this. "But what about the stuff that actually matters like the plot and stuff?" Food comes first. U: I really am glad that others seem to be enjoying this though! |

| I have a feeling this anime will be one of the lighthearted ones that'll make me cry later on in the series, but either way it's lighthearted and cute and I like the whole premise of family in it. |

| Very promising anime, possible slice-of-life of this year (we'll see how 3-gatsu goes). The atmosphere was just great. Wish Azuma would finally agreed on making Yotsubato anime too but this one seems to be as good. Hayami Sayori is great, MC's VA too (Clannad feelz) and we will get even Tomatsu Haruka (SAO Asuna or Shizuku from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) and Seki Tomokazu (well...) in upcoming eps! | I definitely loved the first episode! It reminded me of Usagi Drop and Barakamon. It was relaxing and a joy to watch. My only complain however at the end of the episode is why are they solely eating rice? There's no meat to add with it? No vegetables? Not even sauce? I'm surprised no one mentioned that. You can't eat rice when there's nothing to accompany it with. That's odd. |

| The beginning of this anime series, really puzzled me. I do not imagine such a result, my expectations went beyond what I thought, I'm happy. It was immediately enraptured by the story and by the way they have been narrated events. Excellent designs and animations, pleasant and cute characters in their utterances. The opening and ending I liked, the only question I have, is in the motivations of Kotori against the teacher and Tsumugi; I wait for the next episode to better understand this aspect. I hope that the anime series, will further improve. |

| HORY SHEET YOOO~~~, THIS SHOW IS SOOOOO ***KING GOOD!!!! Actually better than Usagi Drop. Everything including humor is so much goodness! Beyond perfection, instant 10/10. Look at that face of Tsumugi when she ate an awful dish, ROFL. The dinner is only rice? Simple yet effective, I approve!!! Loved both theme songs <3 Only thing that I hate in this show is character design but I let it pass through. 5/5 |

| another nice anime Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! MC Segawa Yuuta still in college sister dies & her 3 daughters will be separated cause all relatives say they take only one & girls are upset cause they will be separated & he looks at them & say's i will take them others say no that its impossible cause of school & so on & on next day he is gone with the 3 girls (but only one the youngest is blood related to Yuuta) went back to hes own home & that's where the story starts, i personally have no words for this guy, just one thing YOUR THE MAN!!!, RESPECT!!!, hes CHAR 10/10 cause how meany school guy's u know who wold take in hes sisters kids who would think they can manage most would be like the relatives like no way i can manage & he probably was thinking that to but he took the risk cause he couln't bear to watch them be separated OFC there are other interesting chars to like Oda Raika Yuuta has a crush on her but he is one weird cookie but she is good & she likes the girls once they meet its a sweet story, i recommend OVA'S to cause some OVA'S rap some stuff up that the series leaves loose i hope u get what i mean sweet story like this one Kouhei x Kotori they better make season 2 to sail that ship |

| I actually checked this out when it was still airing and liked it, dunno why I never continued. Well,anyways, this was wholesome, but also subtly melancholic. It's rare that I feel like tearing up during the first episode. I love single parent stories and this one in particular seems extremel adorable overall. I hope that they do a good job at exploring the hardships of a father and his daughter living on their own with some deliciously cooked meals as a side. |

| Recommended to this anime by a friend. The first episode made me feel sad. Still, I feel thankful for her recommendation. The picture/cover on this anime's page just doesn't do this anime justice. The visual is actually better than I expected. I'm the type who reads into things so this first episode feels more sad than cute/fun to me. Meaning: there's just too many unspoken sadness behind. |
