| Mandrake Scene was Perfect |
| Well, this was.. unusal. It kinda reminds me of modern version of Kiki, even cat looked similiar to Jiji. Dunno about chara designs though.. I mean, the art is great but I guess it doesn't really fit 4-koma style. Also, main heroine looks kinda older than she actually is (15, at least for anime) but I guess one will have to get use to it. So even though nothing happened so far, it's kinda interesting and I really wonder how this SoL turns out in the end. |
| This might turn out good nice relaxing atmosphere thought it was kinda slow at the start but man that Mandrake scene lol the reactions to her casually flying were priceless meanwhile Kei just Yep no big deal. Miwa doing the OP giving me silver spoon nostalgic slightly disappointed their younger thought they were all young adults |

| Excellent first episode. Perfectly captures the soothing greatness of the source material. This will be an absolute treat to watch each week. :) |
| Well this was nice and relaxing, but aesthetically... The art style of this show looks like its trying for a more down-toned, semi-realistic feel - but the character faces and anime expression don't match up with that feeling, and it makes everything kind of look disjointed. And the voice actors didn't really sound like they were into their roles... obviously a side-effect of the leads being voiced by unknowns, but still bothersome. So I kind of feel zoned out by this episode, I think I might actually get more enjoyment out of this if I were to read the manga, where maybe (hopefully) the art style will look more coherent and I can put my own voices to the characters. |

| If there is a show this season that can slow things down, calm you down, and just generally leave a smile on your face, this is the one. I don't think I've ever seen as much realism in a show about magical girls as I have with this. The comedy was spot-on too. Chinatsu might be in the running for favorite character of the season. Mandrake don't give a f***  |

| My favourite first episode of the season so far. There is a really good sense of comedic timing, especially with their long drawn own pauses during a joke (most noticeably when Makoto gets lost). Makoto is a great main character so far, and it adds a lot to the comedy when all this weird magic shit starts happening and she acts like it's not big deal. The music was on point as well. Overall, a really funny and feel good episode, could potentially be AoTS for me. That mandrake tho... |

| very funny. It looks a little Hanasaku Iroha and some films Gibli. I think it will be a very funny story with many feelings. The Ending I really liked. I could not tell if the mandrake was funny or frightening. I liked the reactions Nao. I will enjoy the series. |

| Been reading the manga since it first came out and I'm delighted by the way they animated it. It's a perfect replication. They even managed to do the voices right. Chinatsu and Makoto are adorable throughout, and Kei does so well as the lazy straight man. For those looking for fighting or action themes, then unfortunately this show isn't for you. This is pure SoL, with not even romance included in it. But as a chill show, it's plenty of fun to watch. |

| So far it's the first show to really deliver this season. With most shows I wanted to watch I had a couple complains, either budget or the way it's handled, but this one was really relaxing and especially hilarious with the mandrake scene. You know what would happen once she pulls it out, and it still surprises you with the creepy visuals and sound. If they keep this up, could easily end up being AOTS. |

| It's good but I still don't see how things like mandrakes and witches aren't more well-known. Someone has to have come across crazy shit like that. I guess I'll just have to over-look it. ~ |

I found this season's best vegetable. Mandrake for best veggie, hands down. This one is surprisingly enjoyable to watch, I found myself laughing more in this than in Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge. I had higher expectations in the latter which is why I'm utterly disappointed with it. |

| That was actually quite good. It had a somewhat slow start, but I like the way they used the supernatural stuff, it didn't feel out of place or anything. And that mandrake was priceless. |

| That screaming mandrake...reminds me of much of that class session in Harry Potter! xD And it has sort of a vibe similar to Kiki's Delivery Service (or Witch's Express Delivery in Japanese version). Loved it! 5/5. Though the episode name should be something like "Wonder in Six Years" instead of "It's Been Six Years". Crunchy failed again at translations. Good thing I watched in a fansub. |
